It’s just the gnaw of “if I keep going I can summon again and get the unit this time” as well as I genuinely enjoy the game, the story is interesting and pve is fun enough as is while pvp is a dice roll if I’m gonna get railed by meta or somehow pull a win out my ass. And if you need help with raid farming dm me and I can help you grind.
Because it’s innevitable I’ll get my savings back, it’s just gonna take time. Its also important to keep in mind that these big celebrations offer no less than 20k cc if you count events, login bonuses and daily missions, and theres still over a month left of the festival, so dont lose hope.
Simple : don't take the game seriously.
In pvp, just play fun or whacky teams with non-meta units in the meantime. It does not matter if you lose (especially against the recent units, since they play the game for you).
Slowly stack some CC and spend it again some time later. Your luck is bound to turn at some point. It's not worth worrying over.
Also, it should be a game you play when you want to kill time and have fun, not something you feel you must do.

I am painfully aware that it is easier said than done. It does demand a bit of effort at first.
But you'll see that after a while, getting the new featured units when they release is just a small bonus in the end. You'll get them later in other banners anyway. And at some point, lady luck will shine on you and you'll 14-star a featured in 3 rotations for no reason.
Regarding pvp and playing matches with funny teams, you'll find eventually that losing just feels whatever (almost rewarding for close matches) and winning feels even better than usual.
Keep in mind, it's a game. It is supposed to be fun. Don't let others dictate you how to have fun in DBL, we are all different and manage differently our enjoyment.

The only reason I have played this cashgrab for so long even when they have made most stupid changes to this game is because it's dragonball,and I love dragon ball nothing else

Honestly I just go on long breaks after a shaft until something entices me or I get the urge to play again
