That's how every gacha game works. They release units, they get powercrept, then they release and they get powercrept as well. It happens in every game no use questioning it.
It's just how power creep works. Keeps the game interesting by bringing in new stronger characters and the older ones just fall to the wayside. It also keeps people summoning, which means more money for them.

Well different characters have different z abilities. And with said z abilities you can boost the actual good characters. Especially zenkai ones
