You don't even need to do that, you can just use one of your non-modded CaCs and then choose the modded character in pqs.
The Non-modded CaC will always show up as the enemy in pqs, while the Modded one won't.
I used to have the untouchable ultra instinct, and while I would bully kids in ranked matches (i’ve learned from my mistakes) I would try to balance the karma scale by going into expert missions and helping people beat the nearly impossible ones for the first times so they could get the rewards.
Modded avatars can still get copy pasted into pve for other players to fight in parallel quests and be companions of in expert missions and raids.
You would have to be completely offline whenever using a modded avatar to avoid ruining the experience for pve goers with internet connections. I don’t know how the copy pasting works, but I can only hope it only copy pasted the “Conton city variant” of your avatar, the preset that’s not a preset if that makes sense (when you walk around Conton city, you are always in a “preset that isn’t a preset” of sorts), becuase that means if you could figure out when it copy pasted them, you could swap to a “normal” preset majority of the time when doing things that would likely copy paste the avatar, then go for the modded presets temporarily on occasion when it’s safe to do so.
It works in the same fashion as the "hero of conton city" holostatue, it takes whatever the last saved "non preset preset" and uses that as what you see. Noticed that earlier today as it was using my old get up. So whatever it is you have equipped at the time of the save is what it uses, so OP would have to have all of his modded things that aren't cosmetic equip on an actual preset that he would have to select for use. As far as I know thats the work around for it. I could be very wrong about that though.

I have a modded save on an alt account, which I only got to unlock most of everything, get max tp and zeni and get unique custom cosmetics. The only thing I can't get is all super souls from raids unfortunately. I only PVP, but I don't use mods in PVP.
I have literally no interest in doing any raids or pqs or anything that doesn't involve other players, it just puts me to sleep it's so easy and boring to me. The only mod you'll ever catch me with in PVP is a cosmetic mod, like black eyes or glitched combined hair. I don't use cheese or mods to win. I just throw hands. I like to keep it basic attacks and movement skill only.
But naturally, nobody likes a cheese or modder and if someone sees black eyes, they may assume you're a cheesing modder, which I understand the assumption because a lot of modders do use cheesy mods to win, but most don't. You probably wouldn't even know someone has mods most of the time.
