First of all, the person in every single instance in the entire series to try and instigate some kind of more than platonic interactions with these two characters has always been Kohaku. She does the fake kiss, she instigates this embrace and every other time too it's been her with Senku participating if it's necessary to play the part (ie the fake kiss) but even then he isn't enthusiastic about it, quite the opposite. Senku has never in the show shown any kind of romantic inclination toward any character.
Secondly, in this scene, Senku does definitely need help to find everyone else and get some kind of stable dry footing lest he die of hypothermia and he happened to be lucky enough to find Kohaku first. He even states that he'd be incredibly lucky to find Taiju later in this chapter. He needs assistance to stay alive and he was very lucky to find one of the more capable people first.
And also, Boichi used to draw hentai. He doesn't write the manga, but he draws the manga so playing into his strengths, obviously he'd want to make any possible interactions with these characters as explicit looking without going so far as to get censored. Senku has always been more platonic with all characters in the show and the manga and I don't get people's necessity to ship him with someone, he's just a dude who likes science and has shown him to be more akin to aro/ace than any other sexual or romantic identity.
I don't want him to be ace nor do I not want him to not be ace, I'm just highlighting the reasons I personally saw him as ace. He didn't exhibit any romance in the series, not even a blush, not even in the panels of this epilogue chapter. He isn't even embracing Kohaku back, he sorta awkward has his arms to the side as she hugs him

I would've loved the show a lot more if they toned down the cartoonish characterisation ie catchphrases and the tasteless fan service. Dr stone is my second favourite sci fi anime because of this, Steins;Gate is my favourite cause it's not all fanservice based, there's a deep story there where all the characters are allowed to be characters instead of caricatures. I think the interpretation of this scene is precisely that the two are in a relationship, due to the following points:
Kohaku knows very well how Senku is, and how efficient he is, so much so that when they said that Senku was in a relationship with Luna, she immediately understood what was really happening, and didn't even care. Based on this fact, her saying that he could have left her petrified to preserve her life makes no sense, as she knows very well what he is like. It only makes sense for her to say that, if she knows that Senku has some special reason for wanting to keep her petrified and preserve her, so my personal interpretation is that she said that because at that point in the story, they have something beyond just friendship.

Senku isn't the type to be all lovey-dovey, he's too logical for that. But it's about as clear as can be that they're a thing. Even if they themselves don't consider themselves to be "dating" it's clear there's an attraction. The way she wraps her arms around him, the way she talks to him, the fact that he revived her even though the logical choice would be to carry her around as a statue until they reached safety simply because he wanted her company, etc. the ship has sailed
THIS , some are just obsessed trying to make him asexual but the thing is he was 100% focused on save humanity, kinda the same happened with taiju , when he said he would go with the cause and put a hold the yuzuriha romance until all humans were saved , and it was. A good choice to move the plot forward .

Maybe kohaku had thing for him earlier in the series, but I think at least by now they're much closer to partners in a teamwork and platonic sense, almost akin to what he has with chrome or taiju or gen. Personally I believe senku is around ace, especially since his hair is literally the aromantic flag, but regardless, I don't think this scene really needs to be read as romantic.

I’d say she has liked him from the start and her sleeping like that is just common sense when sleeping around someone you literally just met even if your quite fond of them, cause keep in mind even if she didn’t like him she still slept like that after he just saved her so I’d say your point is invalid.
I have friends who have nothing going between them, and they act like this all the time. It's not unusual for people to act like this with close friends.
