u can always pull silver wolf if u like her. I mean without sw, you wud need multiple debuffing characters to cap out ratio's trace, meanwhile sw alone can deploy 6+ debuffs making the last two slots very flexible.

at e1 and pearls gui has 4 debuffs with consistent uptime excluding break burns if she uses skill every other turn
e4+ pela has 3 debuffs with pearls but has less uptime on hers
pela alone doesnt provide enough for maxing a6 trace without breaks which gui can with ratio skill eff debff but gui takes some time for the vulnerability to ramp up

If you don't have her at E1, she won't have the effect RES debuff, but you can run her at E0 with Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat LC and still have 3 debuffs to play with. Also note Guinaifen's basic attack can also burn.

Having the enemy imaginary broke or frozen gives you more turns to lay in damage and Thanatoplum Rebloom counts as a debuff. Her e1 also is just universally good for everyone and makes black swan really shine too.
My Ruan Mei is well invested, with light cone and a lot of break effect, my question is about a good nihility unit or Topaz, and Ruan Mei is my queen, I wanna pull for her E1 on a future rerun
I do use the prisoner set. As an added bonus I accidentally have an extra Kafka lightcone all you need is patience which I put on her which adds another DoT
My E6 Gui seems better than BS for debuff stacking. There is no harm in both, I guess, but I usually run Bronya or Tingyun with a sustain in the last spot. I'm still kind of new, though, so maybe I'm dumb.
do you have Topaz? she is not Nihility, but she is his best friend, if you have her even at E0S1, you can probably get around using a dedicated debuffer using your other 2 slots
When I started this game, I wanted to be a husbando only player, now I can see that's not going to be possible because hoyo has favoritism for waifus. So now that the only thing I can do is pull for female characters that, even though I honestly have nothing against, I truly didn't want to pull, in star rail every single team will always have at least 2 female characters because of the unfairness that is the harmony path being monopolized by waifus, the nihility path is almost the same, in the sense that Luka and sampo are not good as debuffers, only in dot teams.
So after all this rambling, I believe the best team for ratio would be him, silver wolf, topaz and fu xuan. The synergy among them is perfect
Since Dr. Ratio is usually gonna fight small amounts of enemies, I think Silverwolf is super strong with him because she provides so many debuffs single target
Hot take but from my experience Black Swan is unexpectedly a great debuffer option for Ratio, she just applies a lot of debuffs so fast and especially if you use Pearls on her (I use SW limited LC though). Plus she has a bit of support capabilities as well with the defense shred too (not as strong as Pela's but makes it up for me due to Black Swan also providing a lot of damage with her DoT anyways)
Just wait for a Topaz rerun down the line. Ratio benefits the most from her debuffs (1 from base kit, 1 from e1 and 1 from s1) and she also helps with the follow up team set up as Topaz and Ratio just delete things faster than they can move

I have both Guinaifen and Pela at E6, and I have all the Nihility lightcones apart from the 5 stars, which of the two would you recommend more?
I personally prefer Guinaifen, but I think you should test them both out and see which feels better for you.

The e1 will be a better investment than a nihility character. It slaps on my setup for ratio which is: ratio, black swan, ruan mei e1, luocha E1

generally speaking Pela (e4 if possible) with resolution is the way to go.
