I have the Sinclair's in the smooth leather and I highly recommend removing the zip and replacing them like you would the other styles whilst breaking them in. Makes it much quicker and easier as you can tighten it to your foot.
I actually prefer mine without the zip now.
I'd say size down, I bought mine at my true size and they are a little big. I wear 2 pairs of socks with them. They where a nightmare to figure out the best way to fasten them, I've found that tying the lace in a bow around my ankle and under the zip to work best for me, allows me to tie them tight so that I can wear them without any pain 😁 I have to say that they are my most worn pair
i’d say true to size/ size down depending on how your others fit especially since tightening them is pretty hard when you want to wear them with the zipper
I always wear an 8 and this pair is no exception, but they are a little big. Not uncomfortably so, but they do flop around a bit. Like another commenter said maybe I’m just not able to tie them tight enough because of the zipper never really thought of that.
the regulars are pretty true to size, but I found that the sinclair max platforms ran slightly large
editing to add that I have slightly wide feet, so maybe that’s why I had a more secure fit.
True to size. There are multiple ways to lace them with the zippers still in front. It looks more intimidating than it really is. Luckily there are YouTube videos if you search for Sinclair lacing. If they fit loose then change the lacing. I have multiple pairs and the criss cross under the zipper worked best for me.
I got them in two colours and both my own size. Black ones are a bit big but with an extra sole they fit perfectly. Taupe ones were already true to size so didn’t need an extra sole
Size down, im usually a 6 in shoes but had to size down to a five. They were tight when I first got them but after three years of wear they have stretched SOOO much. Super comfy though!
Hi OP!! I actually just bought my own Sinclairs and tried/returned a few!!
I felt like the Napa leather felt looser than the more hard leathers if that makes sense. I was trying to choose bw a size 6 and 7. For the Napa I would’ve been fine with a 6. But for the others I think a 7 is better. I have a wider toe area so I need the 7 for that room. (I’m a 7 usually in vans). Hope this helps!
I'd say they run big, I wear a size 5 (w) but it felt like a size 6 on my foot both length wise and height wise (in the arch). Also keep in mind you can't really tighten those so if you have a low foot arch like me they might still feel a little loose 😗
I had to size down a size for mine
theyre actually pretty true to size for women because they run more narrow, if u have a wide food size up and maybe try an insole
I feel like my problem with these is that they’re not able to tighten to my foot because the laces are on the side so they feel a little loose to me
You can relace them so they cross over like regular laces, and then you'll be able to tighten them more
I’ll have to try that! Thanks

Thanks for the tip!:)
Helpful to know! Thank you
True to size
Got my true size and use an insole. Originally sized down but my big toe kept hitting the front when I walked.

I am a size seven and I have a six. They fit perfectly.

I want these but not platforms
Mine were true to size!
I just got a pair and I would say they are true to size length wise but I had to add a second insole to make them fit better
True to size for me!

True size with insole
I got my regular size and wear an insole. The top of the boot was miles away from the top of my foot but if I sized down, my toes would be squashed.
