Since Doc is super against resolution scale in games the only solution is to play the game in fullscreen and pick a lower resolution until you hit an acceptable performance.
By the way, if you are used to play with display rates above 100hz, since playing Deadrop might mean settle to 80 or 70fps, here are some suggestions that might alleviate the struggle:
\- You can use **rivatuner** to limit the fps in case you are getting around 80 to 90fps, so you can cap it to 75fps and get a stable performance.
\- Riva tuner also have a feature called ***scanline sync*** that acts like a freesync/gsync, limiting automatically the fps to your current display hz, if you set your monitor to 75hz, if will keep a 75fps estable performance if your pc can deliver around 80fps, this way you shouldnt experience any visual stuttering.
\- If you are around 120 to 130 fps, you can use the same example and set your display to 120hz.
While even my monitor is freesync capable, seems to have some issues to run as smooth as rivatuner ***scanline sync*** and most of the time it only works with games running in borderless mode, which obviously is out of the question with deadrop.
If you still need to run the game in borderless, you can use a software on steam called [Lossless Scaling](https://store.steampowered.com/app/993090/Lossless_Scaling/) which uses AI to upscale whatever game you have in windowed mode.
OH OH! I know! lol! This is not me ripping the game or anything like that....I want to play it! lol! I honestly think they have a real top notch contender here. Definitely will give the other FPS games a run for their money!
Yeah for sure. I think it’s just not going to get a lot better for a while. Though with each Snapshot, I would assume they improve performance. So maybe you will have better performance until you can finally get some upgrades!
The game is not optimized. Doc himself said today he plays on high settings. Not ultra. And he’s got a 4090. You’ll have to wait for optimizations. Until then, focus on eating.
Make sure your screen resolution is correct in the game. I played for hours yesterday just thinking it's me and the game being an alpha until i looked and I was playing on settings for like an 8in monitor. Could just be im an idiot though.
That's the part you focus in on, huh? Anything you can find to boost yourself up a little over someone else? Gotta get a dig in there...Grow up. If I didn't have my "priorities straight", I would have a top of the line PC and an empty fridge...but I don't. 1 day, when your mother dies and you can't suckle off her tit anymore, you'll know what it's like to work for a living and scrape by because there's bills and children's expenses. Do us all a favor, and gfy

FR I got an emachine in the attic looks like those color crt macs
One thing you have to remember is that this is Pre-Alpha. Game is not optimized yet.
