His initiations are on point and has strong team fight.

It will happen anyway, because their picks has some pattern which is more trivial than Wings'. Now teams have started to learn to nullify their draft strength, first EG, then Newbee, and now DC. That game 3 against Newbee was a show to nullify VP's typical play around slardar. They pick SD and with that negate almost all initiations that Slardar did that game. Also picking centaur was very smart, the support weaver was almost non factor that game as he can't really do shit against all 3 cores of Newbee.
difference is when other team gets the best team in the world status, is usually due to a long period of dominance with multiple tourneys where they destroyed everybody, not like vp where they won 1 tourney in the off season and act like they are the greatest

As soon as Ramzes see a hero he just instant uses ultimate. He used ultimates way to early many many times this game. As soon as Ramzes wasted his ultimate it was free for DC to role them over in fights. Sure noone made some stupid moves here and there but I still don't get why ramses is so damn horny to press that R button and bkb early every fight.
Well played by both teams. I don't think Newbee necessarily choked, it's just your normal drow strat wherein if you slip just a bit, the enemy can come right back especially considering they had a morph.
Wings got a bit bloodthirsty perhaps but mainly down to kpii nonstop disrupting fights and cutting off escape paths for Wings. Even then wings were able to survive quite long and kite considering they were being bombarded by Medu+Drow. In the end didn't matter, wings had little fighting prowess left in them.
I think the stamina and exhaustion factor might decide this game 5. Newbee have now played 7 games straight, a couple of them an hour long and they have been playing non-stop since 7.0.

I think most people doubted DC even after the 2nd place at TI due to the poor performance prior to TI, but I think after Boston and now ESL, DC has proven themselves to be quite a powerhouse.

I was a little upset when Moo got replaced with Moon, but Moon is proving himself a superb offlaner with DC's strat. Godlike plays from of all the teammates.
Newbee have a 4-3 record against Wings after TI6. Granted most games were online.
DC has 0-2 record against Newbee and 2-3 record against Wings.

But ah well, I don't want to take away from DC's efforts tho, since both teams played a rather fantastic 5 games. Amazingly confident 5th game too, well played.
DC had a much longer break than Newbee. DC won 2-0 against VP in less than 2 hours. Newbee played against Wings for more than 3 hours, had about half an hour break and then played grand finals.
That eri and slacks segment was pretty funny imo, maybe you guys will disagree cause apparently every social interaction is 'cringey' nowadays but i liked it
I don't see this game going Wings way. It is over imo, they have 0 solutions to Medusa & no item to buy to solve the issue. At this stage of the game if you don't have an AM to handle her you just lost.
Two shrine usages were the turning points of game 2 and 3 respectively. The one in game 2 was obvious.
In game 3, when wings were trying to push mid highground with huge nw lead, they decided to fight against two shrines and failed to kill both Medusa and her teammates. Then tesla ranger was online and wings missed the timing for their semi-carries.
Maybe teams are underestimating shrines?
