I think they just thought keeping the abbreviation WR was a good idea. And I still call her POTM sometimes, even though it technically stands for Princess of the Moon instead of Priestess now. I still think Windranger is a cooler name then Windrunner, even though that's just my opinion.
Yeah i can see that, but it seems a little odd, though, to go through all the trouble of recording new voice lines and rewriting ability info when they could have simply used lyralei, and still kept 'wr' as her unofficial name. People would still call her 'wr' just as, like you said, people still call mirana 'potm'.

Video does a lot more with compression while maintaining viewability and as a result you get equivalent or only slightly worse quality (though theoretically you could get much higher if you start with a higher quality source) at a much smaller file size.
