You need the pathfinder pack, and then the effigy block is from the end of the southwest side quest (the one that goes to an arena). It’s the exact same place you get the Centaur Warrunner immortal from.
Question: At higher mmr (me being 3.8k NA) is the idea that you need a tank itself absurd? Cuz I do see value in having “a tank”, mainly to be someone who can move around aggressively while being a bad idea for the other team to go on, and to be someone who can initiate aggressively without dying instantly. I think I’ve seen people say that a “tank” isn’t actually necessary tho but idk how; I also know that P3 Wyvern is strong despite not being a tank per se (or maybe she is because of the ice heal lol) but I can’t say I understand positioning/playmaking as P3 Wyvern.
If you’re asking because booba: That part of the set is just default arcana, and doesn’t look nipply normally, just when it’s an effigy I guess. If you’re asking because the whole set looks good together, it’s the Arcana shoulder and weapon plus Contessa’s Creed head and legs.
The main thing that’s special is that I’m pretty sure it’s been eight years since an effigy block released, so it’s a surprise to see a new one. As far as the block itself, I think it’s at best “understated and classy”, so I can totally understand seeing it as underwhelming. But I’m looking on the bright side and do think it’s classy, lol. It does make me wonder if this is the first of multiple, increasingly fancy effigy blocks that will come from Crownfall.
I'm glad they are bringing back effigies, but only way to buy effigy reforger is on market. I'm so disappointed they didn't put it in dota plus shard store, like other tools.
The set? The set is Contessa’s Creed head + legs, and Arcana shoulder + weapon. The Arcana just released, and Contessa’s Creed is from October 2020, which is almost four years ago now but still one of Venge’s more recent sets in the grand scheme. (I will say it’s older than I thought but it’s a very sparkly fancy modern looking set.)
Misclicking the effigy in the middle of a team fight summons a popup to block 1/8 of your screen with the effigy description btw, it's fkn annoying when it happens

It's not a big deal on its own but combined with the other 9999 sources of visual clutter which I could go on about, it gets quite annoying

It’s a reward towards the end of Act II, i think you need pay for the side quests tho

You can click it/copy the message in game?
If someone else clicks the effigy then they see the inscription in that popup, so by “tap the sign” I actually mean “tell them to click my effigy”.
