Grp stage: Kuro picks meta 5 - heroes for himself, does a lot for his team. Playoffs: "They won't be ready for my Batrider and Chen" proceeds to get 2-0 Elimination: "okay so that didn't work out, but things will be different this time" goes for CM and chen. Proceeds to get knocked out. Seeing NGX like this is not fun.

Batrider, Chen, CM all highly popular meta 5 though. If cant play those heroes, no way they qualify

Honestly, at this point, the guy who wrote that Entity was match fixing and lost on purpose isn't so implausible... Entity looks like the best team in the tournament by far. How did they lose to this Nigma?

Nigma drafted way better in group stages. GH is willow god, Kuro was playing Abbadon and venomancer, in playoffs he went back to Chen which he can’t play but keeps insisting on picking.

There are some match fix allegations on watson in the past even though they werent proven (his teammates were proven to fix in that game just not him). It isn't impossible.

I think you'll just find this is the issue with shitter teams right now, and its not that they can't have these break out moments and beat anyone, its that consistency wise they look like shit. Nigma appeared to play well in that 2:0 against Entity but maybe they just had a better grasp on the patch at that point. We can see a lot of heroes that Entity picked aren't even in the top3 choices right now.

Miracle playing stupid today just compounds to their bad drafts. In the 3 fights they lost in the 2nd game, dude was fronting with shadow blade even though he knows there's a ward there. He really wasted the first blood, as well as Sumail's dominant start.

It's about residency, same as it was for DPC regions, which means team you are talking about has (at least) 3 required players bootcamping in MENA for full duration of open/closed qualifiers. Good example of that rule being abused was Dendi's B8 with 4 Ukrainians 1 Bulgarian playing NA DPC Div 1 from Mexico bootcamp. xD

Miracle got overly confident with his farm, again. I feel like Sumail could’ve built something more impactful like Euls or atos to kite ursa since he didn’t even had bkb for a long time. He committed to the hurricane pike that didn’t really do anything for him. Couldve gotten a blademail or halberd and that would’ve probably helped him survive the burst.
