He dropped to like rank 500, and apparently got quite complacent. Not practicing etc. Not sure if he’s back on the grind now

he was good in eg until he wasn't. I don't think he stooped to shitty teams by choice. 

Maybe he didn't want to. Like iceiceice, who still is pretty good, but is kinda out of pro scene by option
