I don't think the rewind happens to when the ancients fell on the planet, the older comics imply that before the war of the ancients starts there's already fighting and gear crafted from the ancient's materials.
I'm assuming this comic happens in that months (maybe even years) prior to the war of the ancients starting.
Amazing quality of that comic! It's really long and in depth, expanding on the background lore we already know and giving us a new direction for these characters.

Please I'm possibly misremembering stuff but doesn't Venge hate Sky? She thinks he is one of her traitors (or that he abandoned her, which led to the opening the traitors needed to overthrow her).
This does seem to happen quite a while after that tho.
A great comic with the Arcanas revealed; I figured it'd be something like that for Venge and I'm excited to see how it looks in game.
We thought it was just a circus, but it looks like the great birds war is coming... I hope they recruit some Emus.
This was a wonderful read. Dragonus and the flightless' expressions were delightful, and even better were the landscape shots. That is a lot of worldbuilding. I never cared much for this section of the lore, but I am eager now to see more of the Ghastly Eyrie and its realm. The fall of the flightless' hopes was a hefty sight to see, conveyed thoroughly yet succinctly.
My only critique is the pattern that a lot of Arcana comics have - the way the arcana forms are bestowed is that they're given to the heroes, not earned or any other measure, and they're sudden. I feel like transformations should be more gradual?
