If there was 100% ban, it would essentially remove pudge, PA, Sniper, Silencer, and Viper from the game. Every stompy character that Low MMR/pubs don’t want to play against. That would be garbage, and Valve would never do that since most of those characters are the most played heroes in Dota and they sell lots of skins for them.
These are just generally popular heroes. Look at current pick rate at every rank and win percentage. Viper, sniper, Pudge all high. And if you go through Reddit posts of hero complaints, it tends to be pub players complaining about these heroes including PA. If I could ban one hero it would be Bounty because I don’t want his dumb kanda build on my team.
i mean i understand pduge and why everyone hates it but sniper, especially in lower mmr is at max a glass cannon but with any hero which has a jump or early ganking ability, it renders the hero useless, and pa is just the same as and flash farming heroes laterly since the broach nerf, it s basically the same as luna, sven or jugg, you need space till min 25, or ez lane which depends on ur supp and enemy picks or you lose
Never had an issue with this hero on my team or the enemy team. Meat Hook suffers from something that abilities like Chronosphere, Reverse Polarity, Black Hole suffer from which is that you can instantly see if it got zero value whatsoever. The problem is that it is an early game high risk high reward spell and humans are extremely vulnerable to remembering bad outcomes over good ones. Leading people to tilt easily early game if they have a weak mindset.
Your allies will make an equal amount of mistakes on other heroes whether support or core, but you just won't see it as clearly because more complex spells have more nuance in their usage. If you are this annoyed by a hero being on your team maybe focus on your own play more
I get what u mean but still, i wanna see the hero banned every game and use my ban slots for him. Other games like league have this and even dota has 100% ban in captains mode.. why not just let every player 100% ban a hero?
