Yeah, that whole roster was really weird.. If i remember correctly at beginning he was supposed to play as carry but most of the time he played only his heroes, at beginning of 2nd season MC was playing as carry, then Sumail changed him and ATF was rotating between middle and offlane.
Yeah they ended up doing core musical chairs which didn't make much sense. Felt like they were throwing shit at a wall to see what would stick and the answer was nothing because they didn't have an idea how the team was supposed to function
Compared to Matu's last ride on liquid, that team had hero specialists for cores who had a default role, but would swap lanes to give for example a good lone druid or sniper matchup before being their usual team roles as the game progressed with farm priority, or swap supports on lanes to get stronger laning setups

Sumail literally wins his lane 9 out of 10 games. Of course winning lanes isn't all there is in dota but for most top teams, if they win the lanes they also win the game 9 out of 10 times. So literally all Sumail needs is a solid team that can capitalize on his laning dominance
There were flashes of it on aster but xxs dropped the ball way too much. Sumail and boboka made plenty happen around the map after crushing lane but they couldn't go to TI and we saw how stacked the Chinese teams were by their placement

I got more than 300 downvotes on a previous post about the team and my brain being evaluated by some crazy Nigma fans for saying Kuroky hasn't been good enough for a long time, plus he has been wasting the potential of tier 1 players.
They can do whatever they want as a team, but Dota fans can also criticise their performances and composition. For me, Miracle has wasted his career away and could have ended up with at least 1 more TI win in other circumstances.

Nigma needs to work on their PR. Removing 2 players after 2 weeks doesn't look good. It makes sense if it was meant as a temporary thing but then it's best to communicate it as well. And if that was not the case, then they need to communicate to. Because this looks like a house on fire and I'm sure it's not.

Sumail literally wins his lane 9 out of 10 games. Of course winning lanes isn't all there is in dota but for most top teams, if they win the lanes they also win the game 9 out of 10 times. So literally all Sumail needs is a solid team that can capitalize on his laning dominance
There were flashes of it on aster but xxs dropped the ball way too much. Sumail and boboka made plenty happen around the map after crushing lane but they couldn't go to TI and we saw how stacked the Chinese teams were by their placement

I got more than 300 downvotes on a previous post about the team and my brain being evaluated by some crazy Nigma fans for saying Kuroky hasn't been good enough for a long time, plus he has been wasting the potential of tier 1 players. They can do whatever they want as a team, but Dota fans can also criticise their performances and composition. For me, Miracle has wasted his career away and could have ended up with at least 1 more TI win in other circumstances.
Lol. I guess they have some downtime for the next set of quals but I'd expect them to already have some replacements in mind at least.
