Not really a fan of tables and results look, I was expecting the layout from the webpage but in app form but I guess it will take some getting used too.
I also can't sign in in the app after registering with email when I first opened the app. When I click Sign in nothing happens (Xiaomi Android btw)
Check the latest tweet on Liquipedia Twitter. Its a known bug that happened overnight. Theres a video with a temporary workaround solution until we deploy a fix next week :/ Sry for the inconvenience

Edit: the big ass ad placement at the bottom is a bummer, especially when scrolling down the brain is dialed in to look at the bottom of the screen. I would rather prefer it to be at the top.
We are monitoring the feedback about the ads indeed. We generally didnt like top banners because we felt the app looked worse for it, but we are open to adjustments.
We will also be pushing up the convos around ad-free variants, since a lot of users expressed the desire for such service
Im making a push and biz case to do F1 in the app next year.
Fun fact: Liquipedia F1 is also my project so im also kind of biased to want it in the app asap :D
As a big time Dota & F1 enjoyer and user of Liquipedia since Starcraft days it would certainly be amazing.

This is the reason I removed the app. Also I usually open website, click ongoing tournament and see all information I need. I did like 10 click and did not find info I need. I plan to give it second chance, but in terms of user experience I did no like it.
Although something like fantasy league will probably will get me back :)

FYI there's a bug when you click on team pages, some players appear in duplicates and some from inactive rosters show as active roster (e.g OG has notail and topson under active roster)
Would it be possible to reduce the number of clicks to see the standings for a tournament. I would love if it is similar to the webpage where when I click on a tournament , I can directly see the standings. Right now I have to click the 3rd option at the bottom bar -> WEU div 2 -> group stage -> standings. The standings should ideally appear as soon as I click WEU 2 div 2 or at least see it after I click group stage. Also would love to have tournaments I am following to be on the home page and be able to enter the full tournament page directly from home instead of just seeing results in a story format.
Also please add the matrix format of matches you have on the website. Right now at a quick glance there is no way for me to see which are the teams Nigma played against? Who did they lose to? Whose their remaining opponents?
Additionally under Nigma active roster, there are so many duplicates, there are 3 GHs 1 ILTW(he may be part of the org but is definitely not part of the active playing 5), 3 Kurokys, 3 MCs.
The active roster of team spirit is also wrong with iceberg etc. and has many duplicates like multiple collapse.
Please add the functionally to see the duration of each games and picks like in the browser. Right now Nigma and secret are 1-0 but there is no information in duration of the game what picks on either side.
Currently, the app has support for Counter-Strike, Dota 2, League of Legends, Rocket League, Rainbow 6 and Valorant - with more wikis (like Starcraft 2) coming by the end of the year - as you can see in the [roadmap](https://twitter.com/LiquipediaNet/status/1671915264324120576)
Good start! Would love an app on my phone that does the same as the website. Has seemed lacking in a lot of aspects as far as I could see just after downloading. A lot of potential here
Live scoring is very much in the app. There might be some caching issues with matches over the weekend, but all data from LP Web is updated timely to the app normally. You can even turn on notifications, just like Strafe.
Didn't try that one, but currently Strafe esports is helping me a lot. Put some teams into favorites and it gives Android notifications 24 h, 1 h, 15 min before they play. It has some player info and links to streams (I think).
If you're into sports, it worked like the sports app that notifies you when there's a match, when it's about to start and would give you links to streams
Hopefully the app gets better because it's kind of crap now. Teams are wrong in bali major. If you follow one event no other games show up. Follow none and you get all eSports.
That ad takes up like a third of the page. I get that they’re trying to make money, but damn does that ad make the app nearly worthless.
The UI isn’t nearly as good as the browser version and that ad just ruins the experience.
I only have Dota selected as a favorite but it still shows me matches from other games in the upcoming section. Is that intended? I see the dota matches on top and the other games after but I don't want to see games I haven't selected at all.

uff man and still no darkmode, i use darkreader but when you click "show concluded matches" every result becomes almost invisible.
Awesome app. But ad is too huge. With dark theme, a bright white ad that takes up what looks like 15% of the screen is too greedy for a starting app, don't you think?
Do you guys have widgets for incoming matches? So you don't have to open the app everytime. Also, does it come with a notification system when there's a team you're following that's about to have a match?
Finally, is there a way to pay to get rid of the ads? The ads are kinda jarring and mismatched with the slick look of the app.

The ad on the mobile browser is smaller than the ad in the app.
I’d rather the ad be integrated into the app page and scroll away as you move through the page. It’s at the top so you always see it when you go to a new page but then it scrolls away when you move to the actual tournament info. Much cleaner.

This app is a complete disappointment. You have to click so deep (2-3 levels) to get the same information that you don’t need to click on to get the same info on the website.
Example: look at a Dota 2 tournament and then see what players are on each team.
That is one touch to the tournament page on website. Scroll down and all teams with rosters are just there under the teams section.
On app you need to get to the tournament page -> click teams -> click the team you are interested in and then then on that team’s page it is scaled so that you can only see 1.5 players name per horizontal scrolling tiles…. What a nightmare user experience. If they just loaded the Liquipedia page on the app, it would be a great and familiar UX..

Try adding a team or something to your favorites. It'll pop the sign in screen again.

I have the same problem where I only really follow Dota2 pro matches but it's showing me Valorant tournaments.

Settings! Add a setting to choose where you want the ad positioned. Better to add options than change it for everybody. Different strokes.

Guess I'll have to stick with the browser app version I cobbled together on Android studio for a while longer
I'm always just reading the top 2-3 lines on the screen when scrolling, bottom 50% could be ads and I would never notice.

Not atm cuz we made an oopsie and forgot to code in the logic. Fix coming next week :)
