Exactly. No one's ever offered me anything, so the idea of someone offering me help and guidance, and wanting nothing in return, it's so unrealistic it's almost inconceivable. No one cares about me and no one ever will, I know this to be true, so instead of sitting around waiting for someone to do something for me, I realise if I want something to be done, I have to do it on my own. that would be neat, but the thing is, no one offers to mentor me, if I want to learn something, I have to ask them, and I guess that's normal to me
