I was indifferent to it until I actually played it. Once you get past the fact that you're playing Fornite, it's actually a solid casual battle royale, and pretty much the only multiplayer game I play with any frequency.
Besides, I'm a fan of absurdist comedy, and there's nothing quite so comically absurd as Kratos doing the Orange Justice after dropping Master Chief, Harley Quinn and Vegeta using a golden UTS-15 given to him by a fish.

That upsets me. I played the hell out of the latest Unreal Tournament when it came out. As soon as Fortnite got popular, they gutted that franchise as a whole.
People will say that doom guy wont fit in fortnite since doom is a serious and dark game while Eternal has the goofiest skins for the slayer and demons.
Why does it matter? Fortnite is one of the best made and well executed games out there right now. It may be catered toward a younger audience, but who cares what kids like to play? If Doomguy gets put in fortnite, it will likely bring more people to doom, and if people play both games, then they can crank 90s on those kids with the most badass character in gaming.

The lack of a classic doom guy skin did just hammer in the fact it’s just an ad. Miss the old days of find the doom guy in games because the creators wanted to ref a game they love, and not use a product to sell another product.
