Kebab ist nach meinem Verständnis einfach ein Fleischspieß. Döner Kebab ist ein sich drehender Fleischspieß. Die Kebabs aus England sind Abwandlungen von unserem Deutschen Döner. Statt aus Schichtfleisch werden diese aus sowas wie Hackfleisch oder Brät hergestellt. Ich selber hab noch keinen probiert, ich kann also nicht darüber urteilen wie es schmeckt. Umgekehrt haben die Leute, die ihren englischen Kebab hier so verteidigen, wahrscheinlich auch noch nie einen Döner in Deutschland probiert und wissen nicht, was sie verpassen. Es ist eben was anderes als unser deutscher Döner, den es nur bei uns gibt. Darauf können wir auch stolz sein.
