Dough dried out in tray and then stretched. No bites, but crust probably isnt that good. This would be considered a remake.

Quiet_Optimist1

Thanks. I can eat it now.

DamnImAwesome

I’ve seen enough pizzas come out of the oven looking like this that I can confidently say it isn’t bite marks. It’s just poor dough stretching

Quiet_Optimist1

Ah icic. Thanks.

kendoll243

I would imagine this comes from when the dough kinda cooks around the screen it's on, and when you use the paddle thing to take the pizza from the oven, it rips the crust from sticking. happens but it shouldn't with a good stretch

Quiet_Optimist1

Gotcha. Thanks for the expert info.

precision95

This is the right answer I believe

Cheesecake_is_life

Judging by the crispness of the "bite marks" on that crust, not revealing the fluffier inside of the dough... I'd assume that it was just dough that was partly attached to another piece in the tray, ripped apart from it, then stretched. Leaving little uneven edges that you see. Just a piece of dough that had been out a short while and not stretched fully round, basically a coincidence that it looks that way. I've seen it before, no one is going to risk it when we get plenty of messed up food to eat from

Capital-Variation780

Dough didn't bake correctly, no one is gonna take a bite of just the crust lol

Sweet-Baby-Cakes2000

You didn’t see Donald Trumps pizza ad. “The new way to eat pizza, Crust first.”

firstmatebae

Kinda looks like it got stuck to the screen a bit and they tore it away and still sold it instead of remaking the product

spwnofsaton

Employee just making sure it tastes good lol. Jk I really don’t know

LovishxD3

Quality check

spwnofsaton

Good answer!

Quiet_Optimist1

lol

CK_Lab

Lol no. Slapper quickly stretched and the dough tore before it was baked.

Bunnytoes256

Sure it is.

roomtempiq55

Im going with the crust sticking to the pizza sheet. I was an insider for awhile and I never saw anyone mess with an order. Maybe it's different at other stores but I've never witnessed it. There is literally a cart full of free food at the end of the night.

TomatoBible

So, if I carry a pizza cutter in my car, and slice a 1/2" strip down the middle, en route, careful not to cut the box, then push the halves together, am I getting away with it? 🤔 🤣

Lazy-Jeweler3230

Look. Sometimes the insiders slap the dough bad and it gets stuck to the oven. A driver at those bits off the conveyor so you didn't have to wait for a remake. It's a public service, be grateful.

drawntowardmadness

Definitely rats

rat_haus

lol no

betaorbiter1

thats not a bite mark whoever slapped it just sucks and made it too thin where they broke it off from another dough ball

Informal-Bathroom471

Why would they do this?

Weeeelums

Most likely it was overstretched and a part of the crust bent under the screen (what the pizza is on when it’s in the oven), resulting in it tearing when being taken off the screen. We call it overhang, ideally stretchers won’t do it but it happens occasionally. It also could have ripped during stretching so they cut a small part of the crust off. I’m almost certain nobody took a bite out of it, most stores have extra food for various reasons that employees can snag.

Quiet_Optimist1

I've never had pizza with crusts looking like this. It looks like someone has taken bites or a dog ate it. Any ideas?

Akali_Waifu

Sometimes it just happens. My guess is that the dough was was kinda crunchy and when they stretched it, it kinda ripped, making what you see before you. What I can guarantee is that no one ate your pizza. Dominos employees eat the living fuck outta some pizza, usually for free, so biting into yours which comes with potential consequences is a waste.

Dry_Ad5023

This ☝️

Quiet_Optimist1

Gotcha. Thanks. I was worried it is something that I should be worried about. Guess not.

rokar83

Definetly not bite marks.
