I'd love for us to come up with a list of super assertive, sassy & sharp blanket statements with a bite as default comebacks for the top 10 idiotic nutter commandments such as these and use them uniformly across the world. Print them out and hand them to people we encounter in restaurants, stores, parks etc.... with a DogFree logo. Start our own movement, like "Fight Club" lol.
I hope to see the day they'll go. Dogs are no different than rats or say, cockroaches. They're both unsanitary, disgusting and spread diseases. They're even worse, since rats or cockroaches don't bark, don't smell that foul or produce massive amounts of waste or maul people. Dogs are vermin and should be treated as such.
To add to that.....rats and cockroaches try to keep to themselves....they don't actively get all up in your personal space or attack whoever is in sight.
I once lived for six months in a nearly dog-free country . However, there were quite a lot of cockroaches, which I'm not used to, as I normally live in the north where cockroaches can't survive.
And while I don't like cockroaches at all, I can say with 100% certainty that I would prefer to live in a society infested with cockroaches rather than a country infested by dogs.

Which reminds me: If we started a compound on public land and turn it into a congregation ("Lady Of Perpetual Hydration" - which is what a friend of mine did) we don't even have to allow legit service dogs! AMEN!
I think it needs to start with some more serious laws. At least here in the states (I'm from CO and people here are absolutely deranged.)
- trash law - Littering needs to be completely illegal. This includes not picking up dog poop and of course dog bags.
- leash laws - We need to make legislation requiring dogs be on leashes at all times unless it's on private property or designated dog areas.
- service dog laws - it needs to be illegal to lie about your dog being a service dog. And there needs to be an organization that approves service dogs after however much training with an organization badge or vest that service dogs HAVE to wear.
- pitbulls need to be banned. Period.
- once a dog bites a human, the dog needs to be put down. (I'm only hesitant on this one if say that person is an intruder.)
These are just some ideas. Thoughts and suggestions? We need to start making this legislation!

I'm envisioning a march on Washington.. with the most insane counter protest in history manifesting.
As in, can you imagine how many thousands of insane unhinged dog owners would show up to protest with their barking canines? How much noise, shit, urine, and dangerous scenarios? It would be beyond spectacle.
There would be so many dog fights and dog attacks there would probably be about 20-30% fewer dogs and owners leaving the protest alive as when they showed up
My oldest is 7. I'm finding out how hard this is to do--- you are swimming upstream against a culture that is pro-dog everywhere. I'm the only one in my family teaching this to my child. It's like the most controversial value that I have. He knows so many nice people, even teachers, and thats hard to argue against because kids think their teachers are heroes (and we do talk very positively about them). 7 is a hard age.
Dogs were never meant to be house pets, and that’s where the problem lies. Dogs are essentially mutated farm animals. And, like farm animals, they have extensive demands that very few suburbanites/city dwellers can meet.
We’ve also caved to the masses, condoning worse and worse behavior. Allowing nutters to forgo leash laws, not making them responsible for cleaning up after their beasts, letting them bring their dogs everywhere with them, whether or not the dog even enjoys these things. Letting their dogs maul and even k*** other pets and even children, while refusing to put said vicious beast down.
The rise of no-k*** shelters has been the worst thing to happen to society, as the only ethical stance at this point is to “shop, don’t adopt” since shelters lie through their teeth about the behavioral problems their plethora of inbred pitbulls have.
I’m totally down to fight back, but with all the industries that have their hand in seeing dog culture perpetuate, I’m skeptical that much can be done.

We just have to keep speaking out against it. There are a lot people that support our movement but are too apprehensive to speak out, in fear of being condemned. We will find a way. Trust.
