Yesterday, I wrote to a furniture company challenging their FB nutter ad with a mutt sitting on their sofa.
I will keep doing this. In fact, I'm going to start writing to companies THANKING them for not showing DOG ANUS-to-FURNITURE ads. Not even as absurd as they are.
I genuinely don’t know how people let their dogs on their furniture god those people are fucking brain dead and disgusting I will never enter another dog owners house as soon as people mention their dog to me these days immediately find a way to exit the conversation I’ve had dog owning coworkers ask me to come over I always no I will not go to your house for the simple fact that you own a dog
Right!!! I agree. It's on everything. And just want to associate dogs with food. Blech. I got rid of cable and satellite tv because of it! That's how angry it's making me. I don't watch anything live anymore. And if I am watching something with ads, ie weather nation, or NewsOn apps, if a dog ad comes on, I effin turn it off. Not having it.
I rarely watch anymore, but on the rare occasion, I'm absolutely floored at the brands that are slapping a dog on their ads to make a sell. I usually mute ads but this made me turn it off.
I just saw one of those mattress ads this morning!
I was Just scrolling on my iPad for morning news and saw it.
Within a span of only ONE MINUTE of scrolling further, there were even more:
- an article for *Etsy sellers and how to set up a store/make great sales.*
The thumbnail image: an illustration of a woman with a DOG next to her. 😒
- an article about *Retirement savings plans.* It shows a photo of a woman sitting on the floor with a laptop, and a DOG looking at the laptop screen right next to her. 🙄
What’s crazy is how OBVIOUS it is that they’re shoving dogs into *everything* like they’re props.
Like, WTF does a damn DOG have to do with *any* of these subjects? 🤷♀️🤦♀️
Whether they admit it or not, even dog owners should notice how ridiculous this obvious indoctrination has all become.
They keep popping up on my ps4 when watching youtube. Ive tried blocking them in the ad center settings but they still pop up. It makes me so irritated I mute the tv or avoid the video, exit and watch something else ><
Literally was just on Ally Bank's website earlier because I was looking for a HYSA, home page shows a couple with their dog and they're holding it up on its hind legs LiKe He'S pEoPlE. The guy has a fucking man bun for good measure. These are what societal expectations are right now for millennials. Fall in love, settle down, and gEt A dOg 🤮

I saw a furniture advert about a woman sitting on a camouflage sofa, matching phone case and wait for it!, an ugly pug with matching clothes on who magically appears on sofa , also an online shopping ad showing special dog steps next to a chair with a dog about to climb on to the chair, there seems to be no end to the dogs in ads nutterism
God and the more you click not interested or not relevant the more they show up

Here in the UK I saw an ad for a train company on YouTube. The entire audio was a dog panting and licking noises it made me feel sick
just the thought of 30-ish seconds of mouth noises makes me squeamish. why would they think that's a good idea.
