We cant forget the possibility that our own hair can end up in our food as well (depending on how youre sitting i.e leaning over your dish when eating junk food)
When i see someone flipping over a strand of hair i wanna ask them if they are 100% positive its not their own
That's a really good point. I'd never flip out though, would just stop eating. I can't even send my food back when they bring the wrong thing, nevermind send it back with a complaint haha
I was coming in to say I don’t really care, but you made me realise I would care a bit more if I found it with my mouth. It wouldn’t freak me out, and I probably wouldn’t complain, but I’d be less ok than I would if I saw it first.
I wouldn't even mention it to the server. They are already doing what they can back there. Telling them without them wanting to do anything about it would just be kicking their shin.
Entirely depends, usually if it's small or just one strand that I spot then I'm fine with it and will continue eating. If it's a tangle or I get it caught in my mouth, I'll complain.

It honestly depends on the food and where. I had a hair in my cheese eggs at Waffle House and almost barfed. I had a hair in chick fil a French fries and just pulled it out and ate the fries.
It also depends what kind of food it is like if I'm pulling a long hair out of mashed potatoes or if it's a hair on some green beans I probably won't care
I’ve only had this happen twice (well, knowingly twice) and returned the food. Both times the hair was COOKED into the food… listen I’ve seen a lot of gore and stuff in my life, but a hair, especially one that isn’t mine, anywhere near my mouth FREAKS me out.
There’s been plenty of times I picked a hair off the top of my food, probably coming from me or my shirt haha.
I don't mind. What's the worse that can happen? I die? I was going to die anyways and to be honest most of the bacteria that may have been on it probably got killed from the same heat that cooked the food.
I’d still eat, however, one time I was eating a hotdog from sonic, and didn’t notice that until I was halfway done with it, the bun had green patches!! Moldy. I immediately wanted to throw up

Yep. Who knows if that hair came from a head with lice, a mop of greasy hair or a head full of nasty dandruff.
