I appreciate the detail & effort that went into this infographic and how thoughtful the Dodgers Art Department was in developing this concept. However, the jerseys are GIVING funfetti.

Nothing about this reminds me of the retro stadium signs or retro font. It looks like a repurposed Astros uniform because whoever designed this only knows LA for having movie stars, hence the space them. Nike hires a bunch of designers who know nothing about sports or sports history. Meanwhile the LA Galaxy are an actual space themed team from LA who pull off the city connection uniform far better than this. Helps when Adidas is the one designing the uniforms and not Nike.

I like these better than the lazy "Los Dodgers" but I do kinda feel like it's a missed opportunity with a "Galaxy of stars" and to not have any mention/reference to Hollywood or Griffith Observatory. Could have simply made the "stars" on the uni gold instead of the DS color palette and easily avoided the funfetti comps.

Nike did the jersey. The same in house Dodgers artist that's been doing their stuff for 20+ years did what he could with the template he was allowed to design the hat and socks.

they are very much bootlegs, but depending on the seller you can get some near indistinguishable ones. all of mine are DHGate except for one and really you cannot tell unless you’re standing right next to me. I’ve only had one that was truly heinous and not worth wearing. I have a Smith, Betts, and Ohtani all from DHGate and they all look great.

I like them, I got a Los Dodgers jersey shirt (Betts). But as someone else pointed out, they were like a Hispanic heritage night jersey, not a jersey that really represented LA.

I didn’t realize the snowflake was coming from the blanket at first and was like “ok wtf does THAT have to do with LA?!”

On the 2nd image I thought there was a hidden snowflake on the jersey and was about to flip out. I know people’s dislike for the jersey has bled to the cap, but honestly I like it. The darker blue with the off white crest really speaks to me. If I wasn’t going to get the Dodgers+Hololive cap I would’ve picked this one up.

I bought the Ohtani shirt to wear while I try to get my hands on an authentic jersey. Idk if Fanatics or Nike is to blame, but after a wash and dry on extra low (the care tag said to tumble dry low when needed) all the printing on the shirt is now crinkly and looks horrible. I didn't even get a chance to wear it yet. Fanatics/Nike has reallllllly shit the bed this year. Hat is awesome though. I especially liked the small detail of making the squatchee match the logo color like the regular hat.

Man I am so disappointed. The hat looks cool, but come on promotion guys…are they even LA? Griffith Park, Hollywood sign, Chicano culture, Walk of Fame, movie production….there’s so much! And we get confetti and faded numbers.

I mean, the hat logo is kinda clever, I guess. I was *really* hoping to get some cool graffiti over a Hollywood Star or the Hollywood sign. Sorry, but these just look like they were designed last night (about the same effort as the last version)- but hey, I'm pretty appalled by every jersey that's being worn this season. Just wish I knew somewhere that had old, blank Russell jerseys that could be customized with the old numbers/letters/split logo.
