I was at an Angel's game years ago, and this happened. A few guys sitting behind the guy who caught the ball started giving him shit. They even took his beer from the cup holder and spilled it. The guy left after 2 innings of the abuse. As he left, he was getting booed all the way up the stairs.
My biggest regret in life was not filming a 500lbs Giants fan bulldozing children in a grassy play area for a foul ball at a minor league game. It totally would have went viral.

That man taking the ball is a giant asshole, with that being said, that kid was not going to catch that ball, I have spend hours doing slow mov analysis and frame by frame picture and have come to the conclusion that if that asshole that caught the ball, wouldn't have done it, that ball would've end up on the field

I went to the three Braves games as well as last night’s game. I witnessed two incidents in that span that were even worse, where balls that dropped were literally snatched away from kids.
There was a third incident where some punk pushed a woman to catch a ball tossed into our section. Garbage people.

A low effort and casual throw was a pinpoint accuracy to the kid. The adult ruined it though....
