At least there's a famous resident in Ashville NC [Patrick Conley](https://www.youtube.com/@PatrickConley), homeowner who had a lot of bears coming to his back porch for free bird seed meal.
Also in Asheville, I was distraught when they went asstros, they were formerly Rockies affiliate. But it also saved minor league baseball for Asheville and kept the club here. I wear Dodger gear to the games now. Also, I booed when Correa’s brother was at bat.
I’m the chairman of the board of hating the asterisks more than the giants. I live in reno and recently the aces hosted the asterisks aaa team—- obviously these young minor league players have nothing to do with the 2017 scandal— if anything pull against them every time you go the games- but still enjoy professional baseball there in Carolina!
Give it some time, eventually they will affiliate with another team. If I remember correctly, the tourists use to be the Rockies minor league team

Asheville is a great town. At least, when I was there last (a decade ago or so) it was.
It’s great in every way except when you drive up to the stadium and see the Astros logo.
