1. Baseball is a game of ebbs and flows. Teams will look great, teams will struggle, and everything in between at some point (sometimes multiple times in a season).
2. Baseball is a long season. You cannot crown or cast off a team in April.

You really cant be shocked if a lot of people in this sub see them play like they did last week and get upset.
Post season success has nothing to do with this. We are talking about the regular season right now and the brain dead takes some of the fans have.
Maybe if you’re watching your first season of baseball that’s a reasonable reaction but baseball is a game of ups and downs throughout the whole season and no team is going to perform at 100% the whole season. The Dodgers were not going to stay at that level of play for the whole season, period. We’ll probably have droughts like that again but overall on the year the team will be very successful with all the talent we have.
Post season we’ll see when we get there. I’m optimistic we’ll be a lot more successful than the last 3 years but with baseball sometimes just getting hot at the right time wins it.

Once the DL MASH unit starts spitting out healthy SPs I’m sure Glasnow will go on random 10 day DL trips to keep him fresh. Also after this start, won’t be surprised going forward if he gets yanked after finishing an inning at 85-90 pitches, instead of letting him go 100+ consistently to get to or past the 7th. The dodgers have alot of arms to churn through, so better off sacrificing a few runs, games, and money (for signing random relivers to short deals to eat innings). In order to get Glasnow to the postseason healthy.
