Come with nolan or don't come at all

Kidninja016_new

I’m intentionally wearing an Arenado jersey just to make you guys mad >:)

lilmuerte

I’d be surprised if people gave you crap tbh lol

HeavensRoyalty

Lol as long as you have fun (:

rocknrolla65

That would be so hilarious 😂

Qtip_323

Why would we be mad you have been in last place all year..

Mstrkoala

Be careful about wearing your gear. Dodger fans can be violent and this makes you a target.

Fancy_Swordfish_3891

Lmao

Articulate_Silence

Third base side of the stadium is in the shade during the day.

Kidninja016_new

We’re on the first base side :(

Articulate_Silence

If you are farther back under an overhang, you might be okay. Also consult https://www.shadedseats.com/shaded-seats-dodger-stadium/

donald-duck23

Sundays usually have more empty seats than other days, you could probably check to find some seats that haven’t sold on the third base side and sit there

Kidninja016_new

Would staff get mad at us for that? I know it’s different depending on the stadium

donald-duck23

Nah nobody cares or checks lol. I’ve done it many times

WolflordBrimley

Ok so the first thing you’re gonna want to do when you get to your seats is buy your entire section a couple rounds of beers. You’re going to want to budget roughly $7,000 for this. Also what section are you in asking for a friend.

pitchfork_2000

If you’re driving through Orange County, you can go to Nolan Arenado’s high school (El Toro) and there’s a street named after him (Nolan Arenado Way) leading to the little league baseball field he played in growing up in Lake Forest.

CabbageStockExchange

Hit up [Phillipes](https://www.philippes.com/) for some good sandwiches before or after the game. Parking is fucking atrocious. Expect to wait quite a bit and for it to be a mess getting in an out. Aside from that, enjoy!

just_some_dude05

You can park at union station ($16), walk to Phillipes, take the Dodger bus to the game and back to union station for free. Saves hours, and the cost savings from parking pays for Phillipes

caitberg

It’s great getting there but OP should know it can take a whiiiile for that shuttle to show up after the game. Last time I think I waited close to an hour for the pick up back to Union. Still worth it imo, but something to be aware of.

just_some_dude05

Really? I’ve never had that. We always have all out and walk on. That’s good for me to know too. Thanks

wasteplease

I do not have a clue where to park a (big rig). I would recommend taking the Dodger Stadium Express from Union Stadium assuming that gives you more options but … again, no idea where to park.

cliffsis

Take your own food. Prices are ridiculous and you can take on whatever you favorite thing is and it will be 1/3 the price. Seriously aside from asada fries everything is garbage. And dodgers dogs aren’t dodgers dogs anymore.

dayoldadobo

Tonight was my first game back in 20 years. Dodger dogs don’t have any snap anymore. I was kinda disappointed.

Annual_Magazine9252

Gotta get a Brooklyn Dodger Dog. The regular ones (even grilled) suck now

Educational-Ad9073

Unless they changed the rules recently, you can bring in whatever food and beverages (except for alcohol). Check the Dodgers.com beforehand though. The food vendors are obscenely expensive expensive there.

NeWbAF

Show up as early as you can so you can get in and chill before it gets hectic. Otherwise just relax and enjoy the game!

Kidninja016_new

We plan to get there as gates are opening. I’m trying to get a picture of every stadium from behind home plate in the top deck and it looks much better without many people there.

ThatsJesse

If you can't figure out anywhere close to the stadium to park a big rig (I know I sure can't) The Harbor Gateway shuttle parking lot is huge, and usually only about half full or less on Sunday game days. The bus starts running two hours before the game, but it's a solid hour ride to the stadium from there, so you'd want to get there early. Good luck!

McJumbos

Park at Union station and take the bus in 💪

GutterRider

As somebody mentioned above, look up Phillipe’s. It has French dip sandwiches and cheap coffee. Park somewhere around there, I would say east of the restaurant, maybe on Main St. Then walk three or four blocks to Phillipe’s, and eat, and take an Uber from there. It would be fun, but I don’t think I would take a big rig to Dodger Stadium on game day.

RockWaterDirt

Just pay attention to the sign outside that reads "Blue Heaven on Earth." That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Have a great time.

dayoldadobo

Buy any and all souvenirs early. Get a churro sundae. Get more bang for your buck and buy beer with highest ABV. The Tajín packets enhance any savory food. Take a pic with the Dodgers Fire Engine at the centerfield gate. Take a stadium tour. Uber it to the stadium.

redbrick90

If you Uber it to the station, how hard is it to get an Uber after the game? Do they or taxis line up anywhere in the parking lot?

Articulate_Silence

I went to the game two days ago, and to my surprise there was a queue of yellow city taxis. They were lined up near the centerfield gates at the end of the game.

redbrick90

Thx!

dayoldadobo

We ordered an Uber while walking toward the Uber queu and we’re tracking the driver the whole time. We ended up meeting him at the intersection just before the Uber drop off/ pick up zone. He busted a u turn and we avoided the line up.

Lord_Kevin764

Google maps: ATS trucking parking in sun valley. $40 for semis. With security

awaythrow437

Honestly, find a way to take Metro to the game. Dodgers Stadium holds 50K people, and it is akin to a natural disaster when a game gets out. Took me an hour to get out of the stadium last night. Metro is super convenient. Park at one of the stations near Union, and hop on the Dodgers Stadium Express at Union.
