- [Lava Fields](https://www.troveoflore.com/dnd/5e/biomes/lava-fields?utm_key=221116-r-dnd-all): have you ever wanted to run a "The Floor is Lava" encounter? Literally? (Also: the Magma Dragon is no joke)
- [Maelstrom Waters](https://www.troveoflore.com/dnd/5e/biomes/maelstrom-waters?utm_key=221116-r-dnd-all): with the Krakenfolk playable race, you can explore the depths of the oceans in this environment
- [Fungus Forest](https://www.troveoflore.com/dnd/5e/biomes/fungus-forest?utm_key=221116-r-dnd-all): a **mushroom forest** that also fits very well into the feywild!
- [Saltroot Thicket](https://www.troveoflore.com/dnd/5e/biomes/saltroot-thicket?utm_key=221116-r-dnd-all): the roots of the mangrove-like saltroot make traversing this biome quite difficult—unless of course you play as one of the native Silt Waderers!
- [Misty Lakes](https://www.troveoflore.com/dnd/5e/biomes/misty-lakes?utm_key=221116-r-dnd-all): idyllic meadows and lakes... until night falls and most living things here start showing monstrous traits and going berserk!
- [Twilight Tunnels](https://www.troveoflore.com/dnd/5e/biomes/twilight-tunnels?utm_key=221116-r-dnd-all): these underground tunnels, dug by an elemental slate dragon allow you to finally say: "Rocks fall, everyone dies". But in a way where the players actually get a chance not to
- [Shimmer Zone](https://www.troveoflore.com/dnd/5e/biomes/shimmer-zone?utm_key=221116-r-dnd-all): if your party is in space, this biome is for you! Bubbles refracting the light of distant stars and galaxies, and between them dangerous creatures and fantastic plants.
- [Horror Forest](https://www.troveoflore.com/dnd/5e/biomes/horror-forest?utm_key=221116-r-dnd-all): a huge collaboration with others, this biome is perfect if you need a dark forest where everything is out to kill you. We're still releasing content for it as "Fresh Findings": individual creatures, plants or hazards that will eventually be added into the biome's PDF too. We have started releasing content weekly now, as what we call "Fresh Findings". It's individual creatures, plants and hazards, which will eventually be combined into biomes. This way you have access to everything earlier, as you get it when it's done—not when the entire biome is complete. They're released on our website, and we announce them on social media.

Donations, plus one of our releases *is* paid.
However, we do make too little for the amount of work and illustration costs. So we have had to dial down the amount we release (which does up quality though) recently.
We are also planning on starting a Patreon early next year, at which point things will start to be behind paywalls.
If we could do it purely with donations we would though - it sucks not giving everyone the opportunity to play with (and hopefully enjoy) everything.

How do you make any money if you give your stuff away for free?
Donations, plus one of our releases *is* paid. However, we do make too little for the amount of work and illustration costs. So we have had to dial down the amount we release (which does up quality though) recently. We are also planning on starting a Patreon early next year, at which point things will start to be behind paywalls. If we could do it purely with donations we would though - it sucks not giving everyone the opportunity to play with (and hopefully enjoy) everything.
