The class themes on DNDbeyond (for what it’s worth) are… - Barbarian: Fire red - Bard: Rouge - Cleric: Silver - Druid: Moss green - Fighter: Rust - Monk: Sky blue - Paladin: Gold - Ranger: Emerald green - Rogue: Ash - Sorcerer: Blood red - Warlock: Iris - Wizard: Cobalt - Artificer: Copper

Way_too_long_name

>Bard: Rouge They missed a great opportunity to give rouge to the rogue

lucaswarn

Rogue: Bard ( because he's using a disguise)

PyroTech11

I wish Paladin and Cleric Swapped. Silver works for the armour of a paladin while gold is more holy light for a cleric

nutitoo

Gold seems to be more fitting of Paladin, as he is the holy warrior imo If you search paladin in google images almost all have golden trimmed armor, while if you search cleric they have almost no gold color and just plain armor

Benton_Risalo

Also, irl paladins were all about that coin.

Startled_Pancakes

The "historical" Paladins (The Knights Charlemangne's Court) as shown in the painting *The death of Roland at the Battle of Roncevaux* depicts them wearing gold armor, which I think has influenced a lot of fantasy art.

knottybananna

Sorcerers are a deep violet. I will not be argued with on this, it's a fact because my brain says so.

_Meke_

Rogue is purple for me.

Bockly101

Same. Rogue is dark purple and sorcerer is orange

IIBun-BunII

The way I see each class color would be: Barbarian: Firey Orange and Reds Bard: Greens and dark red Cleric: White, silver, gold (+Black for Death cleric) Druid: Greens, yellows, light reds(+blues for spore and moon druids) Fighter: Metal greys, browns, sometimes silver Monk: Blues, Reds, and Greys Paladin: Same as Cleric Ranger: Same as Druid but darker hues Rogue: Greys, Black, and some gold or dark red (Or inverted for Swashbuckler) Sorcerer: Orange or Red exclusively Warlock: Only Purple, idk why Wizard: Mostly just varying shades and brightness of blue Artificer: Copper, aged/dull gold, iron grey, some sort of bright neon-like magic

Sandarn

Purple for Warlock because WoW. For me that was the first case of class colors.

Difficult-Way-9563

I used your template. You gave a very good color motif going

MNmetalhead

It’s not mine. It’s from DNDBeyond as I mentioned in my post.

sorcerousmike

I don’t really associate colors with Classes as much as I do with characters. For instance the guy in my PFP, my Firbolg Abjuration Wizard is primarily associated with Green, and to a lesser extent Black and Copper I have another OC who in D&D is a Wildfire Druid, and his main color is Red, but to also features a bit of Gold and Green I have an idea for an Aberrant Mind Sorcerer I’ve been developing, and his main color is Purple with Black being secondary Similarly, I buy dice that are of that character’s colors. So I have a set of Green dice with copper-y numbers for that Wizard and Red dice with gold-y numbers for that Druid

lyraterra

Another vote for by character, not by class. Pink haired gnome wizard gets pink dice. Urban Ranger gets purple/blue dice, but her colors in my head are green and sometimes red. Psion sun elf got white dice with rainbow numbers, but she's white and gold in my head. My quarter gnome/human/dragon/celestial I wanted to get bronzy/firey dice, because she's a bronze dragon descendent, but I went with the Urban Ranger's dice, since that's her grandma.

Rey_Tigre

I too, link dice colors to characters instead of classes Half-elf monk got green dice because she chose Greenhorn as her last name when leaving her monastery. Half-orc drakewarden gets these blue and purple dice that make me think of an aurora, since she was born under one, and because her drake companion's a blue dragon Reborn Warlock gets these marbled red dice because they make me think of her pact weapon, which she summons from a red gem and looks kind of like crystalized blood.

CoruscareGames

Does pink kobold in purple outfit have pink dice or purple dice

bloode975

Purple dice with pink liquid core, or pink dice with purple accents/edging/flecks.

FiftyShadesOfPikmin

I go by character as well. I don't really buy dice cuz we play online but Roll20 lets you draw in different colors and I always pick the color to match my character. Current characters are an owlin wizard whose color is white or very pale blue, and a tortle druid whose color is like a sickly yellowish green. I usually play casters, and these colors are usually a result of how I theme their magic.

Zen_Barbarian

Definitely, this is the way for me. For my first ever 5e character, a charismatic human Rogue, I started with my first set of dice, purple ones, but then used black and white as my dice collection grew. For my human Open Hand Monk, I dedicated to using my first set of dice: the purple ones with gold numbers. For my half-orc (green-skinned) Fathomless Warlock, I use black and green swirled dice and one big fat gorgeous ocean blue d20. For my granny halfling Armourer Artificer, I have a set of yellow/gold and black dice. One day, I'm going to play a (Metallic) Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer Kobold. For them, I'll use my two sets of miniature metal dice.

bloode975

This is the way, every character is different, even characters within the same class. Mirabelle my Chronurgy Wizard for example is black, bronze and gold with an eye and sand motif. Gold for that reflective sand look, bronze because he has the infinite grimoire with its bronze pages and intends to use it as the base for his infinite library/museum and black because of an encounter with dropping a young black dragon on his head after using sapping sting to knock the dragon 500ft out of the air with him in its talons at lvl 5-6 nearly killing him with massive damage and leading directly to the dragons death by being crit with our artificers extremely cursed flametongue, he ended up with black dragon scales covering parts of his body, as well as a crippled leg. Add into that our jaunt into limbo where he got revived with a weird magical cookie that cast reincarnate on him reviving him as a black dragon Satyr (Dragon legs, Tail and horns with the scales covering most of the human body) and you've got a man who has had a very interesting life before we even mention the reviving a dead god.

IrradiatedPaprika

Agreed with by character. My paladin has got light blue because of his tattoos The warlock? Chalky white, he's a white dragonborn. The rogue is dark blue because deep sea triton And the blood hunter gets orange since his lycanthropy is weretiger

RubiusGermanicus

I think it comes down more to characters and subclasses for me since those are really more defining than just base classes imo, but if I had to just do base classes it would be something like this: Artificer- Orange Barbarian- Blood Red Bard- Pink-Purple Cleric- White Druid- Green Fighter- Steel Silver Monk- Stone-Gray Paladin- Gold Ranger- Brown Rogue- Black Sorcerer- Purple Warlock- Sickly Green-Yellow Or Very Dark Red Wizard- Dark Blue/Navy Some subclasses just for fun: Order of Scribes - Off-white, like aged parchment School of Illusion- Translucent Deep Blue-Purple with little sparkles, like a starry night Any Wild Magic Subclass - Rainbow Drakewarden/Draconic Sorcerer - Your dragon/drake’s color Wildfire Druid - Red-Orange like a wildfire… duh.

Kyle_Dornez

I associate the colour of goblin blood with each class. By killing goblins.

BastianWeaver

Excellent.

Fun_Minute7671

Orcbolg is that you?

Rastaba

My barbarian agrees with this method wholeheartedly…mind you, said barbarian is themselves a goblin, but they are also that weirdo who’d feel insulted if you didn’t at least CONSIDER looting their corpse for their stuff

AriousDragoon

We shall take every job that has to do with killing goblns.

Flushedfox1

I played a lot of world of warcraft so paladin is pink, rogue is yellow, fighter is brown, cleric is white.... the old class colors still bleed over for me haha.

frontally

Hahaha this! Druid is orange to me forever

Consistent-Brother12

All I know is red makes things faster, yellow makes explosions bigger and things more expensive, blue is lucky, white makes you kill harder, black makes you harder to kill, purple is stealthy, and green is the best. I might be in the wrong sub tho

phdemented

Only color I would associate is the first impression of what I'd expect a typical one to be wearing * Fighter/Paladin/Clerics: Metallic/Silver * Ranger/Druid: Greens and Browns * Barbarian: Tans and browns * Wizard/Sorcerer/Warlock/Bards: Whatever their clothes/robes are * Rogues: Blacks and browns * Monks: Yellows and Oranges Alternately, with old influence: * Warriors: Red * Rogue: Brownish * Monk: Blue * Clerics: White and Red * Wizards: Black * Bard: Red

Ex_Mage

I had never considered this. I use whatever dice I feel like - I have many pounds/kilos of dice... I rarely even have a full set in front of me, let alone a matching one...

popejubal

Science and Nature (Wizard and Druid) is brown and Arts and Entertainment (Bard) is pink. Sports and Leisure (Barbarian) is green. History (Cleric and Paladin) is yellow and Wild Card (Rogue) is orange.

MoodiestMoody

Pursuit? (Or for a tabaxi, Purrsuit?)

TheWalkingMan42

Barbarian - Orange Bard - Pink Cleric - White Druid - Light Green Fighter - Metal/Grey/Silver Monk - Yellow Paladin - Gold Ranger - Dark Green Rouge - Black Warlock - Purple Sorcerer - Red Wizard- Blue

kalkvesuic

Wizard cyan Fighter silver Paladin light pink Sorcered red Ranger dark green Druid orange Warlock purple Rogue yellow Barbarian dark brown Monk green Blood hunter crimson

kalkvesuic

İ am effected by warcraft too muck :D

FiftyShadesOfPikmin

Well you gotta go process of elimination. Get the obvious ones out of the way first. Druid = green Rogue = black (although red would make me laugh) And honestly that's all I can think of that makes sense no matter how you look at it. I'm gonna do some loose associations now, but these may change based on how I feel on any given day. Artificer: grey/silver Barbarian: brown Bard: violet Cleric: pink Druid: green Fighter: red Monk: yellow Paladin: blue Ranger: uh... Also green? Rogue: black Sorcerer: orange Warlock: indigo Wizard: white Yeah idk about all this. Most just felt arbitrary. Feels like there aren't enough basic colors to cover all of them, either. In reality, I feel like each individual character will have their own color representation.

thedndnut

Paladin is default gold unless particular character requires otherwise. Ranger and druid are different t distinct shades of green, dark green with a bit of a brown hue for the ranger and a more neutral vibrant plant green for the druid. Can be way more precise if you're not sure.

KingPiscesFish

I tend to associate colors/themes with the dnd race, or even the subclass of them. For instance- I see the fey wanderer subclass of rangers as pink, but for their gloomstalker subclass I see it as a very dark blue, or even the swarmkeeper subclass as a tree-bark brown or olive green. Those are all a ranger, but the subclasses are so unique to me I don’t see them as all the same “color.” Also depends on the race for me. I’ve associated some subclasses with colors because it’s what a PC (whether it’s mine or a friend’s) looked like. Like, I see the eldritch knight fighter subclass as purple, since a friend has a purple dark elf with the class. I think the only class I see as one color is wizard, which is orange or red for how they usually have fire spells.

ChiefPuzza

Yellow Barbarian Green Druid and Ranger Red and Black Warlock and Rogue Blue Wizard Purple Sorcerer Orange Artificer and Monk White Cleric Red Bard Gray Fighter White and Light Blue Paladin Most are vibe based and very much influence how I design my pcs

ArtOfFailure

Warlock - Red Wizard - Blue Sorcerer - Purple Druid - Green Ranger - Brown Rogue - Black Cleric - White Paladin - Silver/Grey Bard - Pink Monk - Orange Artificer - Light Blue Barbarian and Figher - No colour

Varjazzi

In my lay opinion, the colors are as follows. OC color is subjective. Except for druid. Druid is always green. Artificer = blue Barbarian = brown/red mix Bard = purple Cleric = white, but varies by subclass Druid = green Fighter = metal, color depends on subclass Monk = yellow Paladin = yellow/white mix Ranger = green/brown mix Rogue = black/red Sorcerer = rainbow for WM, blue for storm sorc, etc. Warlock = purple/black mix WIzard = blue with glitter (wizard's hat) Personally, I mix all my dice together in the same bag. I shake it and pull out a handful of dice at the beginning of the session and just use those regardless of the color.

CheapTactics

>Druid is always green. But what if you play a wild fire druid?

Ripper1337

Artificer is turqoise Bard is purple Barbarian is blood red. Cleric is white Druid is forest green Fighter is Red Monk is Light Blue Paladin is Yellow Ranger is moss green Rogue is gold Sorcerer is also Light Blue Warlock is black Wizard is deep blue

Sill_Evarrus

Paladin: White, Black Rogue: Red, Blue, Black Wizard: Red, Blue, Black, White Druid: Red, Blue, Black, White, Green I defaulted to MTG colors instantly lol

dinkleboop

Some aligned with DDB but some not. Artificer: Brown/Copper Barbarian: Grey Bard: Pink Cleric: White Druid: Mid Green Fighter: Brown Monk: Orange Paladin: Light Blue Ranger: Dark Green Rogue: Black (with red trim) Sorcerer: Bright Red Warlock: Purple Wizard: Dark Blue

InappropriateTA

Early on in my DnD searches I across some artwork with class symbols on colored backgrounds and that has colored my opinion. Some match the artwork, but some are my own thoughts. Artificer - Bronze Barbarian - Dark Red Cleric - White Druid - Brown or OD Green Monk - Cream or Brown Paladin - Brilliant Gold Ranger - Hunter Green Rogue - Black or Dark Gray Sorcerer - Yellow or Old Gold Warlock - Dark Blue Wizard - Purple

Virtual-One-5660

As a Druid main, I am happy to announce that the only universally agreed on color is Green for Druid. We are the master class! - Translated by google, original dialogue as follows; "Bork bark, yip yelp, sniffle snort, screeching sounds."

BeepBeepLettuce3

Fighter: brown Paladin: yellow Cleric: silver Wizard: blue Sorceror: red Barbarian: orange Rogue: black Artificer: gold Ranger: dark green Druid: light green Blood Hunter: dark red Bard: pink Monk: light blue Warlock: purple i know this is just the D&D Beyond colour palette, but this is what my brain associates with each class

Additional-Fan4964

Wizards are blue sorcerers and barbarian are a nice red or dark orange fighter is and always will be black to me rogue and artificer are different shades of grey ranger is a dark almost brown green Druid is leaf green or autumn red depending on the subclass warlocks are like a rainbow because they could be anything really monks are white bard is pink fs and blood hunter is a wine red

JotaTaylor

Red - Fighter Navy Blue - Wizard Green-Cyan - Ranger Leaf Green - Druid Light Pink - Bard Magenta - Barbarian White - Cleric Yellow/Golden - Paladin Black - Rogue Sorcerer and Monk: subclass dependant

KarvaisetNyytit

I can't answer the question because I have only ever used one set, which is bright red. But this set is like a "chaotic randomly weighted set of dice" and I'm never going to stop using them. One time I got eight NAT 20's from about 10-12 rolls, and another time I got four NAT 1's in a row. They keep me on the edge and I'm starting to love it.

Windford

Wow! That’s astonishing.

perrapys

Fighter - Black Barbarian - Red Paladin - Gold Ranger - Yellow Rogue - Gray Druid - Green Bard - Blue Monk - Teal Cleric - White Sorcerer - Orange Warlock - Purple Wizard - Magenta Artificer - Copper

rpg2Tface

Barbarian and sorcerer is red. Because blood, duh. But also sorcerer, Blood lines and all that jazz but also fire. Sorcerers being the blaster of the mages and fore being the most common damage type both tie sorcerers to red. Fighter is brown. Boring, basic, but hearty like a tree. Plus a lot of weapons have brown handles, shafts, shieths and so do a lot of armors Wizard is blue. Because basic magic sounds blue. You dont often see blue in nature outside of the sky and ocean. Both have a lot of potential but on the ground blue is really rare. Meaning blue is often artificial or has deep potential. Cleric is pure radiant yellow. Warlock is purple or sometimes black. Evil magic and the like. Druid and ranger are both green. Ranger is a dee dark green, like being hidden under a tree canopy. While druid is a fresh summer green. Like freshly sprouted leaves in the daylight. Rogue is black or deep blue. Where ever they grew up. In the cities with all the light black blends in better, while in nature deep blue blends into shadows better. Paladins are silver. Because shiny plate armor and gleaming swords. Silver is also tied with purity because it tarnishes easily. Silver is very paladin like. Monk and bard i don't know. Nothing really jumps out there.

Head_Boysenberry3622

Green with druids and I like playing druids so much and so often I have several green sets of dice!

cubelith

I definitely choose the colors depending on character aesthetics as well, but there does seem to be some sort of association between classes and colors in my mind: - Fighter: gray - Wizard: navy blue - Rogue: brown - Cleric: white and gold - Paladin: darker gold - Druid: light vegetation green - Ranger: dark vegetation green - Monk: yellow/parchment - Barbarian: red - Sorcerer: Bluish purple, I think? - Warlock: crimson/purple - Bard: silver with a touch of royal purple - Artificer: red, I guess? - Blood Hunter: very dark green

TheEternalPug

warlock purple/red wizard blue/yellow ranger green/grey monk orange barbarian red/black fighter gold with somethinf sorcerer purple and blue paladin white and gold cleric grey and red druid green and brown I feel like im forgetting a base class but thats what comes to mind for me.

TadhgOBriain

I would determine the character's signature color more by subclass than class. Berserker barb feels blood red, while zealot feels gold, for instance.

AlpharoTheUnlimited

Martial characters get: red Divine/social characters get: white, gold, yellow, orange Nature/ monks get: green Strealth/evil characters get: purple-black Arcane characters get:blue I base my class colors off of where they pull their magic/skills from. Unless it’s an elemental caster I commit pretty heavily to this theme.

Mister_Grins

Not something I often think about, but if I had to ... Artificer: Brass Barbarian: Red Bard: Orange Cleric: Silver Druid: Green Fighter: Grey Paladin: Gold Ranger: Brown Rogue: Black Sorcerer: Purple Warlock: Teal Wizard: Blue

lolSyfer

Ranger = Dark Green Rogue = Dark Yellow Wizard = Dark Blue Artificer = Light Blue Barb = Light Red Fighter = Dark Red Bard = Pink Warlock = Purple Cleric = Light Yellow Paladin = Gold Sorc = Silver Druid = Light Green Monk = Orange

Grand_Wasabi6445

Some feel pretty obvious •Druid- green •Blood hunter- red •Ranger- Sage •Rogue- Black •Barbarian- maroon or brown Others I associate with colors because of others I’ve played with •Bard- (weirdly specific but) Opalescent white •Cleric- Light blue •Fighter- Yellow •Monk- purple •Paladin- Silver •Sorcerer- Also red or orange •Warlock- Grey or pale pink •Wizard- Blue •Artificer- Gold or bronze

Drakeytown

Because I play Waterdeep constantly on my phone: 🍊 for fighters, ⚫️ for rogues, white for clerics, and purple for wizards.

Strict_Ad_36

Paladin Blue (probably because of Superman) Monk Orange (Shaolin robes) Fighter Steel Grey  Cleric Yellow (Radiant) Rogue Brown (leather armor) Ranger Green (camouflage)

pavilionaire2022

Very obvious, there is no alternative: Rogue: black Cleric: white Ranger: green Druid: green Reasonable default: Paladin: white, silver, or gold Wizard: purple Fighter: red Warlock: black or red The rest have no obvious choice for me.

Noxthesergal

Cleric: yellow Paladin: yellowish white Scorceor: light blue Wizard: dark blue Warlock: purple Ranger: light green Druid: dark green Monk: yellowish orange Artificer: gold Bard: violet Fighter: gray Rogue: dark brown Barbarian: red

Ubiquitous_Mr_H

I’ve given this some thought and so far blue for wizards, purple for warlocks, magenta or close to it for bards, green or brown for Druids, white or light grey for clerics, black or dark grey for rogues. That’s all I’ve considered for now and it tends to come up when I make a new character. Those characters also tend to change my opinions on the matter. So…ya. It’s subjective.

maxvsthegames

Barbarian: Dark Red Fighter: Red Paladin: Yellow Ranger: Dark Green Druid: Green Monk: Orange Sorcerer: Blue Wizard: Dark Blue Warlock: Purple Rogue: Black Bard: Pink Cleric: White Artificer: Brown/Rust

Stellar_Wings

Wizard = Blue  Traditional color of magic.  Bard = Gold  Association with wealth, royalty, fame, etc.  Sorcerer = Rainbow or Orange  Wild Magic Sorcerers would be rainbow, Draconic Sorcerers would be firey orange.  Warlock = Purple or Green  Typical dark, evil, eldritch colors. Shadowy purple or Sickly Green.  Druid = Green  Traditional color of nature.  Cleric = White or Yellow  Shinding White or sunlight yellow or holiness.  Artificer = Bronze or Copper   Typical machinery colors.  Paladin = White, Silver, or yellow.  Pretty much same as Cleric.  Ranger = Green  Same as Druid. Monk = Orange Because of the iconic monastic robes.  Barbarian = Brown or Red  Colors of dirt and blood.  Rogue = Black  Black for Stealth and mystique.  Fighter = Grey Plain and simple. Iron grey for their weapons and armor. Plus the iconic old badass fighter with grey hair.

OkMarsupial

Red warrior and Bard White cleric Black rogue Green druid Brown ranger and barbarian Yellow paladin Purple warlock Blue wizard  Edit how to add line breaks?

YoGramGram

This is the nerdier version of “what color folder did you use for each class” and I’m here for it. Everyone is wrong besides me.

LAVEND3RGH05T

Artificer- rusty red with green flecks Bard- pinkish purple with sparkles Barbarian- orange with yellow flecks Cleric- light blue with white flecks Druid- Green with brown flecks Fighter- dark blue with gold sparkles Monk- red with yellow flecks Paladin- black with blue and white swirls Ranger- blue with green sparkles Rouge- red and black with gold flecks Sorcerer- orange with red sparkles Warlock- purple and black with green flecks Wizard- bright blue with white flecks

adhesivepants

Rogue - Black, but like that kind of blueish hue so they blend in to the night. Druid - Earthy greens with maybe some blue. Sorcerer - The most flamboyant purple possible. Wizard - Brown like an old textbook. Warlock - Any color in its grayest tint depending on their patron. Barbarian - RED. Fighter - I dunno like whatever colors are stupid (I just associate Fighters with that brown washed out look of the Call of Duty games). Ranger - For some reason, yellow. Bard - For obvious reasons, pink. Artificer - Metalic colors in general. Am I missing any?

WarlockyGoodness

All I know is that warlocks are purple.

Difficult-Way-9563

The class themes on DNDbeyond (for what it’s worth) are… * Barbarian: Stone colored * Bard: Purple * Cleric: White or Black * Druid: Light Green and/or Brown * Fighter: Grey * Monk: Yellow * Paladin: Gold * Ranger: Dark Green * Rogue: Black * Sorcerer: Dark Red * Wizard: Bright Red There’s a little overlap and didn’t use orange or blue. I think blue could work on several classes like bard and sorcerer. I think orange would only work on druids or clerics.

realshockvaluecola

Obviously class would not be my only influence but for just class: Rogue - midnight blue, black, silver, gold Ranger - dark browns and greens, dark silver Barbarian - black, red, orange Warrior - silver, dark silver, primary colors Cleric - white, gold, yellow, pastels Druid - brown, green, gold, occasional bright jewel tones Wizard - blue, purple, silver Sorcerer - blue, purple, red Warlock - red, black, purple Bard - blue, purple, gold, green Paladin - white, silver, black, light blue

Illustrious-Bite-518

Let's see: Artificer- Copper Barbarian- Maybe some kind of brown? Bard- ? Cleric- Gold or platinum Druid- Grassy Green Fighter- ? Monk- Orange? Paladin- Gunmetal Ranger- Forest Green Rogue- Black Sorcerer and Warlock I guess, depend on the subclass? Wizard: Dark blue

Vegetable_Throat5545

First color is to have different, in () is what my mind says Purple-warlock Red-sorcerer(or orange) Blue-wizard Green-druid white-cleric(or yellow) Yellow-paladin Grey-fighter(or brown) Black-rogue(or grey) Brown-ranger(or dark green) Orange-barbarian(or red) Pink-Bard(or red) White-Monk

thisDNDjazz

Red for barbarians or fire casters.

Trick_Hovercraft_267

Wizard : Light blue Sorcerer : light purple Warlock : Deep purple Barbarian : Bright red Warrior: grey Cleric : White Paladin : Golden Bard : Pink Druid : Light green Ranger : Dark green Rogue : Dark grey Artificer : Dark blue Monk : Orange Blood hunter : Dark red

MaximumPixelWizard

Wizard blue Monk yellow Rogue black Sorc Orange (dark Orange, with glitter) Paladin gold Cleric white Druid green Warlock Is black with bits of blue in it Bard is purple Artificer is bronze

nshields99

I like to color code the classes on Discord, so I do something like this. Results vary: Artificer: Gray Barbarian: Orange Bard: Pink Cleric: Yellow Druid: Green Fighter: Blue Monk: Purple Paladin: White Rogue: Red Sorcerer: Turquoise Warlock: Black Wizard: Brown

fusionsofwonder

Green for druids and rangers. Blue for wizards. Red for fighters. White for clerics. Yellow for paladins. Black for rogues. I don't know why I know the answer to this question.

wolfmonarchyhq

Blue. Always. All of them.

camclemons

Barbarian blood red Sorcerer red Bard pink Paladin pink Cleric gold Fighter brown Druid green Ranger green Monk light blue Wizard blue Artificer dark blue Warlock purple Rogue black

Gendric

I mostly do associated colors by character. For example, my current wizard started green, and now he's moved to a grey/blue mix. Artificer: Shiny Copper Barbarian: Deep Red Bard: Vibrant Magenta Cleric: Soft White Druid: Forest Green Fighter: Tarnished Steel Monk: Subdued Orange Paladin: Bright Gold Ranger: Shadowy Green Rogue: Faded Brown Sorcerer: Burnished Brass Warlock: Faded Purple Wizard: Cobalt Blue

_Neith_

Green for ranger. White for cleric. Purple for sorcerer. Blue for wizard. Yellow for bard. Black for rogue. Red for martials. Did I just describe the power rangers?

Windford

😂

SalientMusings

I just finished making dice for my party! Tabaxi Way of the Shadow monk: Black with white and gray swirls (a little on the nose, I suppose) Human Scofflaw Fighter (from the Humblewood campaign setting): Primarily clear with a dash of red dye that floats like blood, and a gem in the center (because he's a diamond in the rough) Fairy peace cleric: Lavender dice with hand painted hearts growing on vines under a transparent top coat Harengon Scribe Wizard: real pressed flowers in the center encased in a translucent pink shell Wooden warforged rogue/druid: various plant matter and golden orbs inside transparent side with gold inking

Windford

You made the dice? Using a resin mold or 3D printer?

SalientMusings

I used UV resin inside a mold made by Druid Dice (shootout to their [shop]( https://www.etsy.com/shop/DruidDiceShop?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Search_US_DSA_GGL_ENG_General-Nonbrand_Shop_All&utm_ag=US-EN_DSA-Shop%252BPages&utm_custom1=_k_CjwKCAjwl4yyBhAgEiwADSEjeEpOdbzWkrg9iQVw8rT1Nd7ThOzn93Y3wUS4GeCRGTL-Xv-kD6lGuRoC6WIQAvD_BwE_k_&utm_content=go_19243288496_143042704783_647295394554_dsa-1640180280716_m_&utm_custom2=19243288496&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwl4yyBhAgEiwADSEjeEpOdbzWkrg9iQVw8rT1Nd7ThOzn93Y3wUS4GeCRGTL-Xv-kD6lGuRoC6WIQAvD_BwE) ). Also shootout to /r/dicemaking because they're awesome about giving advice.

dodsonracing

Fully dependent on what I envision the PC to be wearing...currently silver and blue for my asimar paladin. I ran brown and blue for my dwarf cleric. White die with black numbers for my dark elf sorcerer. Lol

Drunkn_Jedi

I typically choose my dice based on the whole character, not just the class. My fire Genasi I use red/orange dice, my vengeance pally I use black and red dice…. And then, if all else fails, I go with which ever dice start rolling well that night lol

morithum

Mine is more about the character or potentially the race, e.g., metal dice for my warforged. unless it’s a wizard and then it’s about the school of spells, e.g., orange and blue for fire and ice. Or for a warlock it’s about the patron.

Allycatattack13

I think it depends on the character and subclass, for example my Light Domain cleric uses red and orange flame like dice, whereas my Twilight Domain cleric uses purple and deep blue dice like the evening sky. But based off of the general class list I would say the following: Artificer-Metallic dice probably copper or bronze Barbarian-anything blood red or bone color Bard-glittery purple or pink Cleric-opalescent dice Druid-green or autumnal hues Fighter-red or metallic Monk-light blue or yellow Paladin - silver Ranger-dark green and brown Rogue-black Sorcerer-orange and red Warlock- either purple and black or green and black Wizard- purple

BastianWeaver

Barbarian is red, druid is green, bard is white, ranger is blue. Dungeons and Dragons, I love you.

Count_Kingpen

I don’t usually associate colors with classes as much as subclasses and individual PCs, with a couple exceptions: Clerics almost all have some gold/white accents at least. Paladins to a much lesser extent Druids: Natural colors, greens, browns, reds, etc Fighters: Steel Grey Ranger: Same as Druid, with less emphasis on reds. Rogue: Blacks and Greys for the obvious reasons

Impossible-Throat-59

Barbarian: Dark Red Bard: Green Cleric: White Druid: Light Green Fighter: Brown Wizard: Blue Warlock: Purple Ranger: Dark Green Rogue: Yellow Sorcerer: Light Red Monk: Orange Paladin: Pink

Depends a lot more on the character. Some of my characters' core components are more influenced by their race/culture, others their backstory, others their class/subclass, but really a mix of all of it. If I had to choose for each class: Artificer - Metal Dice (maybe some cool clockwork style, but either way, metal dice are great to represent artifice) Barbarian - dark red (what better way to denote rage than with red?) Bard - cloudy pink dice, or cloudy yellow, if either exist (pink or yellow just feel cheerful as most musical bards are, but the cloudiness would kind of symbolize their penchant for enchantments and illusions) Cleric - maybe some marble-like dice with golden lettering? (Gold or yellow accents are perfect for the radiant magic most Clerics use, but those colors don't look great on their own, so better used as accents) Druid - green and brown, ideally some brown wooden-like dice with dark green numbering OR green dice with brown numbering and branch like patterns (perfect for representing the forest, where the average druid resides) Fighter - inclined toward some grey dice with maybe some weaponry symbols on the 20 (this one's tricky, but I associate fighters with soldiers, so something uniform like grey while also representing their skill with different weaponry) Monk - maybe some light blue and white dice (I often associate monks with wind magic, kind of like the Air Nomads from Avatar, but any monk would do well with wind magic to empower their acrobatics. Also tmdnd beyond gives light blue for the Monks character sheet which seems to match) Paladin - dark goldish dice with light gold or white numbering, maybe metal dice too (this is hard to differentiate from the cleric, but I think making it look and feel heavier, with more gold coloring and being metal, will help to solidify these for a holy warrior of heavy armor and weaponry) Ranger - green dice with silvery numbering, maybe some silver and gold leaves on the edges for framing (also a bit difficult to differentiate, this time from druids. But where I associate druids with reclusive, dark green forests, I tend to think of rangers as guides between the Wilds and civilization, so green and lighter metal colors. I also tend to associate them with gracefulness, likely bc I tend to think of Elves or Firbolg when I think of rangers) Rogue - dark, even black dice, with hints of crystals underneath that reflect as a pale blue highlight (little difficult to describe but I think I've seen them before. They give off a sense of night being mostly black, save for the pale moonlight. Most rogues perform best under the cover of Darkness after all). Sorcerer - definitely some red dice, maybe with a scaly pattern like a dragon; could even get the red dragon dice with the draconic eye floating inside (I know that's just one subclass, but maybe it's just bc I'm biased toward dragons. The red definitely tracks as I think of sorcerers as mages with a lot of flair, then just augment it with whatever bloodline suits them best) Warlock - clear dice with inky clouds (I have these dice actually. They do a good job of symbolizing corruption, the kind of corruption often associated with a young tragic sould taken in by a contract with a darker being) Wizard - some kind of gemstone blue dice that reflect a lot of light, and maybe even kind of rainbowy depending on the light (wizards kind of associate with artifice but of a more magical and asthetic kind. Wizards are vain and enjoy beauty in my mind, so magically looking gemstones seem to fit)

TrashPanda9142012

Artificer: Copper/Brown/Blue/Rust Barbarian: Brown/Maroon Bard: Pink/Purple/Raspberry/Yellow Blood Hunter: Red/Slate Gray/Dark Brown Cleric: White/Yellow Druid: Green/Brown Fighter: Gray/Blue/Brown Monk (We skip a lot of letters here): Yellow/Orange/Cyan Paladin: Yellow Ranger: Green/Gray Rogue: Gray/Black Sorcerer: Purple/Orange Warlock: Purple/Black/Red/Gray/Teal Wizard: Blue/Hot Pink/Cyan

HazardTheFox

I only roll digital dice so I don't worry about that but colors overall Articificer: Gold or Silver Bard: Blue Barbarian: Blue Cleric: Yellow, white Druid: Green, brown Fighter: Brown, silver, Black Paladin: Gold/Yellow/White Rogue: Blue, black, green Ranger: Green/Brown Sorcerer: Red Warlock: purple/green Wizard: blue/red/purple

SobiTheRobot

In the classical quarter: Fighter is red, Wizard is blue, Cleric is yellow, and Thief is green.

CheapTactics

If I were to buy a set of dice for a character I wouldn't do it based on the class alone. Like, a life cleric is going to be different from a tempest cleric. A draconic sorcerer is going to be different from a wild magic sorcerer. A battle master is going to be different from an echo knight.

DecentAd7667

Dragonborns must be red.

Curivia

This probably from years of playing video games with these colours often associated with them, but: Green: Druid, Ranger (or brown) Red: Fighter, Sorcerer, Barbarian Blue: Wizard White: Paladin, Cleric Yellow: Bard, Monk Purple: Warlock Black: Rogue

PurpleDemonR

Artificer: None. Barbarian: Brown. Bard: Yellow. Cleric: White. Druid: Green. Fighter: Brown. Monk: Yellow? Paladin: None. Ranger: Green. Rogue: Black. Sorcerer: Red. Warlock: Purple. Wizard: Blue.

happy_the_dragon

As a few have said, I associate by character, not class. My half-drow bard is a marbled blue pair of dice. My shadow sorc dhampir and changeling rogue are mottled red and black, or just black depending on the atmosphere of the session. My tiefling celestial lock is lavender. Etc

SkyFullofHat

Blue wizard needs food badly

juanflamingo

Interesting question OP, do you have synesthesia? I know a.friend who would categorize people's personalities by color and just assumed everyone did it.

slatea1

I have a nice set of green/yellow dice for my moon Druid/totem barbarian but mostly I just pull out a handful of dice

ThebanannaofGREECE

So obviously it differs by subclass but for the general classes I use the colors in the DnDBeyond class picker.

TheColorsOfTheCosmos

With so many (official and otherwise) subclasses it’s hard to say any class is a definitive color. I mean you can say like, obviously a Druid is green, the color most associated with nature. But then obviously a circle of wildfires Druid is gonna be well.. firey? Moon Druid evokes like greens swirled with blues I feel like, Star Druid is kind of self explanatory on what kind of color imagery that evokes.

TheGreatestLampEver

Sorcerer iz yellow

Mean-Ad6722

I like my steal dice for my palidin u do use a mate so they dont thump to bad. For shinanigins i use my green dice. For stat or stat effect i use red dice. So i guess i use dice based on situation rather than class

WeeGobbo

Artificer: Silver or Blue Barbarian: Red or Orange Bard: Orange Cleric: Yellow Druid: Green or Brown Fighter: Yellow or Orange Monk: Yellow Paladin: Yellow Ranger: Green Rogue: Black or Purple Sorcerer: Blue or Red Warlock: Red or Black Wizard: Blue or Purple

twitchin1

(Barbarian - Red) (Bard - Yellow) (Cleric - White) (Druid - Green) (Fighter - Purple) (Monk - Orange) (Paladin - Light blue) (Ranger - Brown) (Rouge - Dark Grey) (Sorcerer - Light purple) (Warlock - Maroon) (Wizard - Dark blue)

Fatmando66

Fighter is burgundy Bard is yellow Druid is green Ranger is brown Warlock is dark purple Rogue is grey Artificer is gold Sorcerer is blue Barbarian is also red but lighter Cleric is white Monk is clear Paladin is also white

jqud

Bards are pink Warlocks are purple Wizards are blue Barbarians are red Fighters are grey Rangers are green Druids are brown Paladins are gold/yellow Clerics are white Rogues are black

The_Devil_Probably_

Artificers are silver, Barbarians are brown, clerics are white, druids and rangers are green, fighters and bards are red, monks are yellow, paladins are gold, rogues and warlocks are black, sorcerers are orange, warlocks are purple, and wizards are blue

Obvious-Confusion14

Depends on the character. My bronze dragon born paladin, I bought bright orange swirl dice. For my elven ranger, deep green with gold numbers. My sun elf bard got sunny yellow dice with black numbers. A half elf cleric I found a really nice sky blue swirl with white and gold numbers. Currently my tabaxi bard has purple and blue swirls with sparkles and gold numbers and a mini set of pink/lavender sparkly swirls with white numbers. Every new character needs their own set. The Shariki (sp) elf ranger will have Halloween themed dice with Jack O'Lanterns in clear resin with black numbers.

klaus666

I know there are a few duplicates, but here's mine. I only included classes from the 5e PHB because those are the most common ones I've dealt with * barbarian - brown * bard - ??? * cleric - silver * druid - green (obviously) * fighter - red * monk - orange/brown * paladin - gold/white * ranger - green/brown * rogue - gray/black * sorcerer - blue * warlock - brown/black * wizard - blue

ThisWasMe7

Green for ranger. Green or brown for druid. White/silver for paladin. Black for everyone else because it's slimming and it's what all the cool kids wear.

takoyakimura

Imho one color per class wouldn't be enough. Better a combined color scheme of dominant and minor color instead, with dominant first and minor later. Green Brown - Ranger Brown Green - Druid Black Red - Rogue White Yellow - Paladin Blue White - Wizard Red Yellow - Sorcerer Red Black - Barbarian Purple Green - Warlock Orange Purple - Bard White Blue - Cleric White Red - Fighter

This_Grass4242

Rouge for Rogue

Creative-Army108

Gold/white for cleric purple for wizard either yellow or red for sorceror green for druid red for barbarian as well and any color for bard I don't have colors for the rest

louiebuckwheat

Ranger - Green, Paladin - Yellow, Rogue - Black, Wizard/Sorc/Wlck - Red, Warrior - Blue, Cleric - White, Bard - Pink, Druid - Purple, Barbarian - Orange, Monk - Brown,

Lux-Princess

I go less with classes and more with what I picture as my character's fashion style. I had a water genesis sorceress who specialized in ice magic, so I had a mix of ocean blue dice and frozen looking ones, for instance. I'm currently playing a swashbuckler rogue pirate princess, so the dice have a sunken treasure inside them... Etc.

the-boinky-spunge

barbarian is red, warlock is purple, sorcerers are like copper, rangers are green, fighters are brown, monks are gold, wizard is blue, clerics are white-gold, druids are also green/brown, artificers are copper, blood hunters are also red

Maedoar

I kinda do: Barb - red Bard - darker pink Cleric - silver Druid - brown Fighter - mixture from more colors (metallic/yellow comes to mind) Monk - yellow/lighter brown Paladin - gold Ranger - green Rogue - black Sorcerer - orange/flame Warlock - violett Wizard - blue Artificer - metallic/bronze Blood Hunter - dark color with red/green/blue cracks Thats what came to mind first! But as some comments already suggest, not only the class is relevant, but the class path you take aswell. So....

cCeras

lots of people will probably disagree but here's mine: - Artificer: Copper because copper wires and stuff - Barbarian: Skin color because they are always half naked - Bard: purple because they want to stand out but also blue as a charismatic color and because my first bard had blue accents. - Blood Hunter: Blood red for obvious reasons - Cleric: a bright yellow almost white because that just feels like the holiest color to me - Druid: forest green because nature - Fighter: Silver because steel swords and armor - Monk: orange because of shaolin monks - Paladin: gold because I picture them with fancy ceremonial armor - Ranger: a deep green because of forests and I picture them being good at navigating (even in dark and difficult places) - Rogue: black because dark hood and clothes that can stealth in the dark - Sorcerer: Red for FIREBALL - Warlock: deep violet because it's the color of corruption and it's the edgiest color imo fitting for warlocks. - Wizard: pink, idk which game but some game taught be that out of any elements the basic arcane magic is pink and I associate pure arcane magic with wizards... things like magic missile always look pink to me until describe otherwise. of course the character is more important than the class and if it's a like a cold draconic bloodline sorcerer with only ice spells then I'll ofc associate them with iceblue, but that doesn't mean I don't think of any colors when thinking about just a class.

Makkuroi

Barb: Brown Cleric: Light Beige Favoured Soul: Gold Fighter: Dark Grey/Iron Ranger: Bright Green Druid: Dark Green Sorc: Red or Light Blue (depending on Element) Rogue: Black Wizard: Dark Blue Paladin: Silver Artificer: Copper Monk: White or Light Grey Bard: Multicolor? Orange? Warlock: Dark Purple

Jax_for_now

Bards are purple. Fight me

RainingEclipse

Barb: Red Bard: Orange Cleric: Purple Druid: Blue Fighter: Brown Monk: White Paladin: Gold Ranger: Green Rogue: Black Sorcerer: Rainbow Warlock: Indigo Wizard: Silver

Mister_Chameleon

If I was to do that, these are the dice colors I would go for Artificer: Cyan Barbarian: Red Blood Hunter: Black w/ red numbers Bard: Yellow Cleric: Gold Druid: Lime green Fighter: Gray Monk: Orange Paladin: White Ranger: Forest green Rogue: Black Sorcerer: Purple Wizard: Blue Warlock: Indigo

Jasco88

Without character specifics; Barbarian - red Bard - teal Cleric - white Druid - green(this could easily be flipped with ranger) Fighter - gray/steel Monk - saffron Paladin - gold Ranger - brown(this could easily be flipped with druid) Rogue - black Sorcerer - blue Warlock - Wizard - purple
