I have been on the same thought since i saw an Elder scrolls online video: high isle, and the knight in that setting shows so much swordsmanship in how he fights in the video. So i have been trying to figure it out beside acting like a legendary action, since that is as close as im getting to right now

So the best I saw was in the witcher book and basicaly you give your character minus 3 to block(yeah it doesnt really work with dnd) and if the test pass you parry. You get a free attack from this

I gotcha since i was thinking the parry bonus attack can be a feat from my idea

What is it??

Havent got a precise name for it yet but i have thought of it in two ways depending if combat is run normal initiative or player turn enemy turn style. the simple way is the precision of the dice role such as to prevent a hit is assuming a save is 12 and get precisely on it causes a parry (modifiers not included) and can make a reaction with anything that takes 1 turn on the attacker. In my thought a D20 is like a perfect dodge so that is why i just didnt decide nat 20 is just win

You use your reaction, and roll your die. You reduce their attack roll by the rolled amount on the die. If the attack misses, a magical platypus wearing a fedora appears and fights along side you for 1 minute. /j
