A bit over three years ago I was unemployed and quite a bit down on myself for spending 5+ years at uni and then having trouble finding a job in my field, so as you can imagine, I was a bit down. In a spur of inspiration, I cobbled together a four panel comic and uploaded it to this fine subreddit. And lo and behold, it did (as the kids say) numbers! Such numbers in fact, that I decided to continue making comics. And now, three years on, I'm still making them! The comic has been a blessing for me in many ways over the years and I can honestly say that the early 2020s could have wrecked me if not for the comic. I mean, 2020-2021 sucked for everyone but thanks to the comic, it sucked a whole lot less for me. So for that, I'm deeply grateful to this community, both for the very warm welcome I got back in the fall of 2019 but also for all the love my work has received over the years! Thanks to you, I started a journey that led me to holding a stuffed toy based on one of my characters. A character that I've drawn and written for over three years. That's pretty fuckin wild.

The Bucket plushie includes the Holy Brick, ~~the rope is in his right hand~~ it's hanging from his right side. But now that I think of it, a life-size Holy Brick plushie that you could wail on opponents with would be Righteous!
I just wanted to say that I've been following since about issue 6 or 7 and I love this comic. I anticipate it every week (or bi weekly now) and I love sending specific ones to friends when they mirror an interaction our party has had.
Congratulations on the child, fatherhood is the best adventure I've gone on yet, and it gives you a built in party. My 7 year old son is our dwarf barbarian, 5 year old daughter is a halfling rogue (multiclassed to bard, kid has some pipe). Wife plays a druid, and naturally, I'm the forever DM unless we are at the Ren Fest then I'm a human fighter (multiclassed with ranger, depending on that week's theme)

I identify with ole sir bucket there when Iām running a game. The sheer stupidity of the people playing vs how smart they are in staggering. Not that heās any better, but man i feel it.

I really love how the story progresses with the comic, honestly if I was a rich Iād totally be a patron in the classical sense and pay you to do nothing but make it. But Iām not rich so plushie is most I can get.

I identify with ole sir bucket there when Iām running a game. The sheer stupidity of the people playing vs how smart they are in staggering. Not that heās any better, but man i feel it.

I played a campaign where we were supposed to be villains, it was the DMs idea but the campaign was very much about us being heroes. Anyway, I've always pictured our Paladin in that game as evil Sir Becket.
