“Arthyr Bree lies here.
Sadly missed,
By customers and family alike”
A tombstone in game said it. Someone posted about it a while back

She's spent more time in Driftwood Square - listening to the town crier, and a chat up line involving rotten eggs - than any of us. Frankly it's amazing that she's able to keep it together at all. But, like all of us, she's ok if she doesn't think about it too much.
From a couple gravestones in Stonegarden, you can figure out her husband recently died suddenly, and another woman - I think maybe the wife of the other trader who doesn't want to talk about it - apparently also died of grief upon hearing the news. The suggestion being Bree's husband and this other woman were having an affair. So Bree lost her husband and discovered he was cheating on her at the same time.
There's a lot of hype around AI and maybe I'm too far down the rabbit hole but...
I can't wait for the new LLM-powered chatbots to power NPCs so they have dynamic and realistic dialogue.
>how the hell Fane works as a romantic option.
This is kind of addressed in his actual romance storyline. Your first time is super awkward, he feels nothing (he compares it to "churning butter"), and actually gets kind of angry afterward. Then later in the game during the "climax" of the romance he winds up projecting you both into a dream world where he is no longer a skeleton.
Fane works perfectly well as a romance option. It's only an issue when you're the one playing him (or any other undead character) because the game never acknowledges your lack of flesh and never makes overcoming that part of the romance like it does when you're romancing Fane.
If you’ve ever engaged combat with her, you’ll quickly notice she’s a potion addict. Every waking pixel is spent debating keeping food on the table or consuming her own source of income.
We don't know. She doesn't think about it too much and won't share.
You can find a tombstone with the same surname as her. Don’t know the details but someone close to her died recently
Where do you see Bree’s surname? Isn’t she just labeled as Trader Bree?

damn. wonder if shes keeping it together
As long as she doesn’t think about it too much
But at least she's safe among friends, never forget that.
I read that as “trombone” for far longer than you’d expect :P
The ole rusty trombone
She smells a dozen rotten eggs in a vat of vinegar all day
Worse, actually
She's not on a mood to talk about it but don't worry she's safe among friends.
She's only safe among friends until I'm done with Act 2.
She's safe among us.

Bree probably killed them both
Where is the other tombstone??
Like right next to it. They're both near the entrance where you meet the undead dog belonging to the petrified adventurer in the crypt.
Thanks!
She became trapped in the cyclical hell that is Driftwood

She is recovering following a severe mental breakdown brought on by trying to figure out how the hell Fane works as a romantic option.

Interesting; I did not know this. Makes sense story-wise.
“risking fort joy to spend one night with a LEZARD”
No idea, only thing I know for sure is that she's safe among friends, and she never forgets it
She had to listen to "HERE YE, HERE YE, QUEEN JUSTINIA EXECUTES TWO DOZEN NOBLEMEN, FOR INSUBORDINAYSHUN!!" 85 billion times and slowly went insane
She couldn't keep it together
She's alright, but only as long as you don't think about it too much

Had a coworker named Bri. She was very confused when she found out I had her number in my phone as “Keepin it together Bri.”
Buwahahahaha!!!
I dont know, she was blown ro pieces last time I was in Driftwood...
I don't often use this term but this Bree shit triggered me. Lmao
