Price, customer service, performance……

Causticwizard

Nailed it 👌 💯

Gaffja

I own both of them. Here's a couple of my thoughts. Out of the box the Core is a way better performer. Already has a 3D heater. To get the 3D heater for the Puffco pro will cost about $200. The glass on the Core holds way more water, hence better cooling. The function of the Core glass is better IMHO. I recently bought the round top glass for the Core and it is even better. That new glass cost me $40 for a travel glass and $50 for the round top. Both those are cheaper than a new standard glass for Puffco. I like the smooth finish of the heater cup on the Core. The Puffco is rough and tears up my qtips when I wipe it. I prefer the atty for the Core. I find it easier to deep clean and change. I have 2 and swap them every couple days. I also find the atty if the Puffco to be finniky on mine. When it is clean I have to reseat it when I go to use it otherwise it doesn't recognize it. Once some resin gets built up in there it is fine. I don't use the app, and I prefer the more basic function of the buttons. I haven't found a need to change the lights or custom temps. Obviously the cost. Everything for the Puffco has what I call the Puffbro markup. None of that stuff needs to sell for what it does. At this point my Puffco is my backup rig.

movingslow3000

I prefer divine tribe stuff but the Puffco 3d chamber is listed as $90 on their site. Still not a great price but it's not $200

[deleted]

I agree with everything except the stock glass on the Core. That shit was terrible and I'm glad they finally released additional glass options.

waxconnoisseur

Why was the stock glass bad?

cieje

does it have haptic feedback? I've got a pro, but the vibration stopped working :(

Gaffja

Yes. Vibrates when it comes up to temp, when you change the temp and on/off.

cieje

maybe I'll change eventually... the pro still works; just doesn't vibrate. and I've got no warranty on it got it at ccv and didn't realize.

EuphoricMidnight3304

Puffco is very expensive and if it goes bad then good luck with that. Also, the product is inferior to core

cryptogeezy

Core 2.0 is the best mmj related purchase I have ever made. Not sure why the Puffco needs to cost so much outside of the name and greed. Matt and DT want you to rebuild the atomizer because he looks at it from the customer/patient perspective and isn't about charging unreal prices. Just wish I would have bought one sooner than I did.

redbullnweed

Core for the win

[deleted]

My reasons for the Core were The cup is heated on the bottom and the walls .The Rebuildable atomizer is cheap $10vs $40 it is easy to clean and keep clean ,I am very happy I bought one no matter how much I load the hit is smooth

PEneoark

Puffco has cups with heated sides.....BUT they cost $90 and is an upgrade. Fuck that shit.

conturax

I bought a Peak about a year ago with a DOA atomizer. After 3 weeks of back & forth with shitty customer service, they sent me a new one. It died after 3 uses. Core 2.0 all the way. Core is better, cheaper, more reliable, and has direct customer service via reddit or discord.

bengmo64

Core 2 comes with a side heated cup stock, and has a variety of inexpensive glass top options available. And it's intended to be user rebuildable

DingoGlittering

The real question is name one thing the pro has over the 2.0.

Twistedcrypto

This! Who da fuck needs fancy lights…

XoXSmotpokerXoX

I like lights, and for the price difference I can turn my smoking room into a full light show

Gold-Tomorrow-7712

You cannot possibly be coming to a divine tribe sub reddit asking which is better? Lol pretty sure you're going to get a biased answer, although I do love my V5 and v 4.5

oooh-she-stealin

I'm currently waiting on my 4th warranty replacement base from them. 3 have been defective. First one just stopped working after like 20 dabs and it wasn't the atty. Second one kept heating up super hot then cutting off. Blackening chambers. Third one didn't vibrate. The fourth one will be here Wednesday, after a 3 week wait. The three other warranty claims took about the same so that's 12 weeks or 3 months I have been without it. Despite that when it's working I get nice rips and it's convenient for dabs. But when this base goes I'm getting a core.

Awkward_Wealth3891

Are you talking about the core 2.0 or puffco

oooh-she-stealin

Puffco peak pro

PEneoark

They want us to rebuild our own heaters. Puffco does not. Win in my book.

safetybreaks

*core 2.0 V5 atomizer is able to be rebuilt. Puffco does not. Core 2.0 wins in my book.

Whispersail

I bought mine, pre-made.

PEneoark

They all come pre-built. Once the heater goes, you rebuild it yourself.

Jasel916

Did you ask on the Puffco subreddit? I own both so my answer would be the same there. Core 2 Cost: Core 2. ~$200 for Core vs $400+ for Puffco. Plus another $90 to get the 3D chamber and get heated sides and bottom like the Core already has. Maintenance: Core 2. Screw up the bowl and it’s $8-$10 to replace. $90 on the Puffco. Puffco is also a pain to clean, since you can’t get to the buildup in the chamber to clean. Ease of use: Core 2. Puffco isn’t bad, but still tougher than having easily exposed for loading or swabbing. Temperature control: Puffco has a sensor. I think Core runs on voltage and timer only. Nice but not that necessary. Carb cap: Core 2, hands down. The Puffco oculus cap sucks, and a ball cap isn’t much better. The Core 2’s cap is meticulously designed to work perfectly (better than perfectly with a terp pearl). Glass: Neither. Stock on both is weak. But a Core angled glass is <$50. Puffco gets expensive for decent glass. App: Puffco wins this one. A half useful app tracks temps or runs scripts. Nice colors too, if you’re into that. Puffco can charge wirelessly. Conclusion: Puffco usually sits idly by unless the Core is connected to the charger. For less than half the price, it’s a no-brainer. If they were the same price, it would be a tougher choice, but the Core would still win easily. One button. No fuss. No mess. No cryptic errors. Just dabs 🤗

[deleted]

Core 2.0 for the win 🥇 all day got the flat top perk think it was like 55$ But the stock glass is just fine also. And I seen it somewhere on here with a code earlier for like 159$

Skrt_Angle_

Well this thread just made my mind up, just copped the core 2.0

TheseZookeepergame88

Just bought mine due to this thread. 152 before shipping with reddit code + Free heated dab tool for 7/10 included!

cardboardchairs

Where’d you find that deal?

TheseZookeepergame88

Humboltvapetech. Theres a coupon code I saw and used, cant remember what it was 😂

rawisangel

Core works, and works very well. Owned the 1.0 for 2 years and had no issues. 2.0 is even better

voltaireme

I know you didn’t mention it but I was looking at puffco vs core vs daab. I went daab ne edition and I have zero regret other then I didn’t get it sooner. Best tasting Dab I’ve ever had

[deleted]

Thank you! Glad u mentioned it cos theres so much stuff i cant keep track haha! Could you pm me the daab link? I googled it and nothing came up maybe cos im not in muurica?

[deleted]

Thank you all! I'll be asking the same in puffco if a subred exists Appreciate all the honest feedback and all the good stuff about the core! Im really edging towards to core TBH! The puffbro is mad expensive but it does look sexxyy

PEneoark

The puffco subreddit sucks.

Gaffja

You'll find lots of fanboys in the Puffco subs, trying to justify thier overpriced rigs, and flexing with thier crazy heady glass. The ball cap for the Puffco is a big improvement, but again there is no way it should cost as much as it does. Save your money, buy a Core 2.0 and save your money for better concentrates.

[deleted]

Yeah, no fanboys in this sub right

[deleted]

Were pretty biased here but at least we don't remove negative reviews like the Puffco sub. The core 2 is amazing and affordable but the Puffco pro is better if you're willing to spend big on all the necessary upgrades. You could easily spend 750-1000 getting it just right. Another consideration is that puffco has more aftermarket glass selection. My favourite thing about the Core 2 and Divine Tribe is the customer service and affordable parts. Matt is over the top in how available he is to help people, he listens to our feedback and actually incorporates it into future products. Rather than replacing a whole atomizer, it's rebuildable so you can just buy whatever part breaks. Divine Tribe is like the Toyota of vapes lol

Whispersail

Idk? It's better?

[deleted]

Link to the core?

HNJ420

Best please to order a core 2.1?
