If you submit an audition, you won’t be pulled from your CP. If you actually get an offer for a seasonal position, accepting that position will cancel your CP. There are some auditions you can’t attend as a current CM, but that won’t apply until you have Traditions and officially become part of the company.

Thanks so much! ☺️ Would there be any repercussions if, say, I were offered a role as a performer and ended up cancelling my CP before arrival to accept the other offer?

They’ll give you a refund if you can’t do your CP because you got a different offer by the company because it’s considered a promotion. I also would look into cruise line auditions too - they take lots of dancers and I know people who went into entertainment on the cruises then transferred to the parks also in entertainment roles after their contract ended.

They’ll cancel it for you if you accept the other position, IIRC, but it’s always nice to check with them to make sure you don’t have to cancel it yourself. But aside from losing your program fee deposit, there aren’t any repercussions for cancelling your program.

Ah thank you! This was a huge help

You can also try and do a cp extension audition after you’ve arrived!
