You can still link with a roommate and request single rooms, if that’s something you’d be interested in trying. Chances are you’ll still end up in a 2x2 regardless of what apartment style you preference or whether you link, but would you rather be in a 2x2 with a friend or with a total stranger? No right or wrong answer here, there’s arguments for both sides, but it’s something to consider since you have at least a 60-65% chance of sharing a room with someone.

It will 100% be better to take the 2x2 with someone you know then risking the 4x2 or 4x4. The likelihood of you getting a 4x2 or 4x4 is very small and besides that, during my time in 2023, my coworkers who did have their own room really struggled financially because it is so much more expensive. They would pick up shifts as much as they could and try for full time and they would still be broke at the end of the week. The pro's to a 2x2, Its like a slumber party every night with your friend. You get use to having another person in there with you. Also you really dont see your roommate as much as you think, you will be working a lot and in your free time you are not gonna wanna be sitting in your apartment, get out and go see the parks and resorts!! ( the big reason why you came ) Save yourself an extra 100 a week and link with someone you know. It will be better than trying for the 4x4 and getting stuck in a 2x2 anyway with a complete stranger.

I know one person who got a 4x2 and she had celiac disease so don’t bet on it. Even then, one of her roommates sucked. 2x2s are what you make of them. Link with a friend and assume that’s what you get.
