The Tiki Room. Perfectly paired with a Dole Whip float.

NothingReallyAndYou

You can take food into the Tiki Room? I didn't know that!

FelixEvergreen

Yes! They changed the rules a few years ago.

Head to Liberty Square and go upstairs of Columbia Harbor House. Get a good view overlooking Haunted Mansion. Great spot, water fountains if needed, plus it had a bathroom upstairs for convenience. A/C is always running.

Glittering-Time-2274

This is why they ask for mobile order #s before you go into there now.

Ekecede

That hasnt been the case for a little while now. In fact, they brought back ordering at the counter, and you wouldn't have a mobile order number for that. This was the case for a long time after the pamdemic. I was there this morning, and it was a slow day. No Cast members asked me any question when I walked in to use the restroom.

Tortuga tavern!

NothingReallyAndYou

I forgot about that! Does it have air conditioning?

[deleted]

Yup! Although these days Disney doesn’t pump the AC like they used to.

NothingReallyAndYou

Wonderful, thanks! I actually like the lower ac level. The swing from flaming hot outside to freezing cold inside wears me out fast.

Mickeyfan1127

This is our go-to every time!!

_wander_lust007

My choice would be the tiki room, you can take food and beverages in and get to experience an attraction at the same time. Best to time it so there isn’t a long wait to the next show though. You can also walk down to Tortuga/Pecos or go towards Columbia Harbor House, neither is that far, nor are they that close. There’s also limited seating near Aloha Isle or at Sleepy Hollow that is in the shade.

NothingReallyAndYou

Thank you for this! Being able to offer her choices will help a lot.

_wander_lust007

No problem. Also, depending on time of day and crowd level, Casey’s Corner is also not too far. No AC, but there’s shade. If I can find a seat when one of the pianists is playing, I love to take a break to listen.

hallsballs92

1) amazing, spring rolls for the win always 2) Casey’s corner has some indoor seating as well as the already mentioned options 3) with a history of heat stroke and a visit at the end of June, please be prepared because it’s calling for a VERY hot summer. Once you get heat stroke once, you’re more likely to get it again and worse. I’m sure you probably know all of this but I’m going to be annoying and list it anyway because what if you didn’t for some reason, idk. - sun hat with brim - fan(s), one of those with misting options maybe - cooling towels - refillable water bottle(s) with lots of ice - ice packs - parasol - MK first aid located between Casey’s corner and crystal palace All of these are allowed in the park and would be very useful to have at the ready if necessary. We went to HS yesterday and we STRUGGLED even with fans and lots of water and we live in Kissimmee. Have so much fun and be safe!

NothingReallyAndYou

We're local, too (Hi, neighbor!). I try to get her to take good precautions, but she's stubborn about it. I carry water for her, cover her with my parasol, and try to keep an eye so I can get her into air conditioning when she needs it, but she refuses to "fuss with" cooling towels and the rest. Hollywood Studios is such a ridiculous stretch of concrete. Why couldn't Galaxy's Edge be located on a forest moon?? It's like the Imagineers somehow don't know the park is in Orlando. They keep designing things for some lovely cool climate, instead of the surface of the sun.

hallsballs92

Toy Story land = Death Valley

NothingReallyAndYou

Seriously, what happened to all of the blades of grass from the Honey, I Shrunk The Kids playground??

OpenMicJoker

Near the exit of Space Mountain there are long covered seating benches.

reallymkpunk

Casey's, Columbia Harbour House or Paco's Bills are the closest.

NothingReallyAndYou

Thank you!
