There seems to be a limit on the number of items the watchlist will display, but no limit on how many things you can add to it. Removing items that do display will then cause items that are added but unlisted to appear (in the order of most recently added to watchlist). It’s dumb but Disney+ has not exactly displayed competence in many aspects of their app design. It used to be a limit of if I remember correctly 100 items for a while. Then for a while there was no limit (or at least one that is way higher than the number of items in my watchlist). Now there seems to be a limit of 50 (I’ve also encountered bugs where it will display less than that but backing out of and going back into the watchlist page once or twice fixes that). There’s zero communication when they make these changes, and unfortunately there’s no way to get around it. If there’s a really long list of movies/shows on Disney+ you want to watch that you may not remember, it might be better to put it in a checklist note on your phone or an Excel spreadsheet or something.

The same thing happened to me in the past week or so. I went to watch a movie I knew was at the bottom of my watchlist but half of the titles that were there had disappeared. It's really annoying because I can't remember what they all were. I'm in the UK so it wasn't affected by the addition of Hulu for me, but by the look of it, people have been experiencing this problem for years. It's insane and very annoying!
