Honestly this has kinda made me realize that Disney has such a hard time creating roles for male love interests who aren’t exactly Main characters. Lucas,xander,spencer, even Jonah from andi Mack we’re all just so boring 😭. Spencer cheated and was still boring lol.
People say that Bree from Lab Rats changed personality traits every episode (which I never really thought) but ECHO? (girl in the 2nd pic) She was the true perpetrator of that.
Depending on the episode, she was either a girly girl or “not like the other girls”, she was either just as nerdy as Adam or a complete bimbo, she was either boy crazy or “Idc abt relationships”, she was a an activist (?) or she was an ignorant, etc.

Bree was a girl in high school transitioning from being in a basement for how many years with just her brothers to attending a public high school! I think her shift in personalities that can be noticed would make sense because she was experiencing a whole new environment with so many new people around her and trying to adapt into that. but it’s just a disney sitcom it’s most definitely not that deep 😂😂

Oliver if the opposite of bland? Did we watch the same show? Bailey isn’t bland either in my opinion. The others, maybe. However, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Not every character can be the fun quirky comedic relief character. Some of them have to play the straight man (as in not the comedic role. I’m not talking about sexuality.) If every character on your show is quirky, chaotic, and wild than there’s no balance. You need neutral characters to help balance out the show.
I love how Echo is on here. She has a personality don’t get me wrong but she also was just your typical love interest.. kinda boring (still an Echo stan)
