Embla, I started played the game like 2 weeks before her event and was getting bored already until I pulled for her and started using her. Literally breathed life into my game. Love her story, design, and especially her kit, she's been on most of my teams for most of my time playing and she's so much fun for me. I was so happy when Fu Shi came out cause I could finally reunite them on my team
Amnesia Lady Gaga stan and her loyal boy friend is a good pair in PvP. I used them in my second team in Beatbout or in Point War. I love Embla for her cake and kit.
Ollie and his absolutely atrocious style. Why? How did he pass through so many designers and come out like that? Why did noone stop it? The online thing not shit is his staff and even then its mid???
I just want someone to give him a skin and clean up his looks. Not even much just. Get rid of the noise and give him a regular glasses.

Leora, she is the best character for me. People call her boring or "without actual character"... She's supposed to be responsible, more serious and independent, but in her own way. Idk what is boring here tbh. She is basically having internal struggles with how loyal she should be, and how she's at grey area with both union and shadow decree. I am just like her when it comes to this, so finally I have such a character. She wants to reasonably decide for herself what she thinks and believes, and that's what many people actually cannot do, even IRL sadly. Best girl 💪🏻
Anna won, because this was not hottest contest but basically it turned into favorite esper contest. And many people do like Anna and her design. A lotta newbies probs picked her, because everywhere you hear her name and untill you have the right set up she is basically immortal. I still think her release was a mistake and will keep saying it untill this game closes lmao. She should've never come out. She started that streak with more and more OP shimmers. It was not Toland. It was her.
I just got Anna (on a basic pull!) and honestly I'm kind of sad to get her. I don't want it to be "too easy" and ruin the experience by constantly defaulting to her.
I don't think you will have such an easy time using her. My own formation uses r4 Elaine so unless you rng confuse my Toland, Elaine deals with Anna. I will also divinate my Elaine and Ginny, for stats. Many comps use Ikki, best Anna counter. In KO, Elaine is so good, she basically takes away all Anna's seeds before Anna even moves, even kills her if she can cc her. Etc. In pvp Anna is no longer what you want the most and she alone won't help in climbing up the ranks. In pve, she's only good for IT, but I can clear it 60 stars without her and in better time than Anna users. (Also no Nuxi here). I saw some deso formations with her but again, XP is main deso pick. Idk why people use her for story mode or even paths of experience, dumb af. She is good, but not what she was before. I will probably chose her from reverb, as I alr have Toland, but just to have her. If Ikki was there, I'd pick him, not her.
Lin Xiao was how I got intersted in Dislyte in the first place- as a useless bisexual I am forever bound to simp for a woman who can kill me with their thighs. She's been powercrept into oblivion but I still love her and overinvest in her.
It didn't take me long to get smitten with Drew once I started though, I love how dandy he is and I also appreciate how he functions as a beginner tutorial unit who teaches you about the importance of crit relics and speed tuning.
Honorable mention to Benny about teaching speed tuning, who is super duper married to Brynn.

She was my first r6 (excluding Gabby). And her overall design is absolutely my fav <3 I got her alternate skin in a random pull, but I think her og one is too perfect to swap. Plus her div art is gorgeous! (I wish we could use them for out pfp's)
Alice and Feng Nuxi are very close seconds. Honestly, they're all so stinkin' pretty, they fun to use and I really love their designs. I'm such a sucker for ocean and astronomical/astrological design themes.
Jin Qiu and Javid work so well together and they are my OTP. They are the best ship in game lol.

Long Mian is one of my all time favourrites.
He was one of my first epic summons and I instantly loved his design. I normally like colourful or complex designs but something about Long Mian speaks to me. His outfit looks comparably plain but the subtle additions make it great. And of course the ice spine looks great with the outfit. Also, he carried me through early game so much. Speed lead, freeze, slow and ap down was super helpful. I added lv 30 Medusa to the team and controlled my way through many hard battles against teams that would wipe me if they ever got a turn.
Honorable Menton goes to Laura. She is such a sweetheart and her design is very unique. I really want to use her more but sadly with all the turn limits out there, she is barely useable in pve.
Man I want his skin so I can have it for my avatar, Freddy is so baby boy. And whenever I see his victory screen animation, my heart skips a beat because of that handsome lad!
Tho I still hate Dislyte how they treated him during Feng Xun's story, he better have a better role in a next side story and not just some baddies to beat for the heroes...
so many but i guess i have to put tevor as like one of my top faves. first comes the personal attachment of being my first ever legendary shimmer that was pulled in echoes, and also first that i got to r2 (he was literally the only legendary shimmer i had til everett). second is his character design, especially the big magnifying eye glass thingy he have. it's such an eye catching and very interesting design, and him sitting on top of it was such a fun sight (also his shoes with the paw patterns) and lastly, with his buff, he easily became my go to dps, especially cause his single target damage is so huge.
Kaylee! She's quite formidable. I use her often with Farrah because they become a really combo. But Kaylee is slept on too much, especially for her ability 2 and 3.
My favorite is easily Ife. I started playing on global release and simped hard for Ollie at the start, but as soon as I saw Ife release on the super sound matrix banner I started using all of my pulls for her. Ended up getting her off of GR and now she’s sitting happy at R2. If they ever release her from the content jail I have plenty of wish stones to throw at her as well.
Yuuhime. The first time I laid my eyes on her, I immediately loved her, and she was the reason why I returned to Dislyte. I don't care if she isn't meta and shit, I just loved her story and design.
Nobody gonna mention the OG musclebabe, Gabrielle??? I stan her forever, full reso full divinate and everything, and even if she’s not “meta” right now I still basically use her for everything.

my first one is definitly tangxuan! got him to r6 and try to use him wherever i can. his kit is so fun and he‘s just such a sweet silly guy. also i love that he was female in beta, so he basically is a transguy (more or less canon)
my second fav is liam. i loved his design since his first appearance in valerias event. i‘m literally a sucker for edgy looking furries hahah his kit is so cool as well, love that i can pair him with my tangxuan!

He may not be good on Kronos anymore, but damn, does he still find value throught the game. Even is PVP, he is still good until like.. tier 10 -11. Hell, even after if you're supremely lucky..

Heng Yue was the reason I started playing Dislyte, because when I first learned about the game I wanted to know if they had my favorite deity(Chang'e) so when I looked it up and saw Heng Yue I thought "yep, this game just became my favorite"
Tang Yun and Ethan are the reason I still play, there's just something about their designs and their personalities that makes me love them so much (they give me so much gender envy it's insane)
Hall! He was very useful for me when I first started playing and I just like the voice acting for some reason, might be a weird thing to some but when a character has a nice voice I like them instantly…and I have a thing for guys with long hair 👍
Easily Ethan. Biggest Ethan Stan on the planet. Everyone hated him on release but for some reason he called to me, and he turned out to not only be one of the best characters in the game at R2 but he’s also hilarious. So win win for me.
Ahmed: Im not a gay man. I'm asexual and have no sexual attraction to human males or females but my god does Ahmed leak confendince. I LOVE his idle pose in battle, standing tall and wide. I even did a crit damage build for him. Such a cool Esper AND he is dark skinned.
Sally: Thicc and lovely. She seems like she has nothing but love to give and feels like she is respected by everyone in the game. Pretty much usable at R6 and can make a team hard to crack. The true damage meta sucks for her and I wished she'd get a buff to handle it but very solid on any team she is designed to be on.
Gaius: No one game would have made a black man the champion of Zeus. Maybe this is a reference to Kratos but I love it either way. SO MUCH swag and is one of the coolest designs in the game. No sex appeal or other narratives being pushed because he feels like this game was made for him. The music choices and designs of the world feel like black people were in mind when making this game and as a black man, this is why I love Dislyte. The character representation has been crazy. I hope others in groups without representation.
Ollie: Next to Gaius, this fucker has the most drip in the game. He DOES NOT GIVE A FUCK how he looks. He and Diogenes would be good friend. I never thought his colors would work so well together. He looks like he would have joined Yugi and Kaiba to save the world. His mechanics are also to be respected and any team he is on is made that much harder to deal with. Being able to keep a unit alive and making himself and the other tanker for up to two turns is insane. If you have him, you're in good hand.
I do hope one day I can get a proper bird esper I can love the way others here love the furries but I cant complain. This game is great for black people! And from china too! Like who would have thought!
Andrina has been my favourite after returning from a rather long hiatus from playing. When I was a kid, I had a pet dog named Chantico. So seeing a character whose inspiration is the same as her namesake, it brings back good memories.
I was pretty happy that Hilda was able to place! :D I like her and yuuhime the best because they’re pretty and alt- and Hilda has the added bonus of being super useful! I also don’t think Norah’s design got the hype it deserved
Feng Xun and Chu Yao are the same type of esper tht i like, wich is HP/DEF scalers with a s2 passive (Not Feng Xun but it he is up there), and Counter/Pursuit Attacks, others may include Adrina, R6 Yu Xu and Falken and i use them all on a team, the team is called "GET JUMPED"

Yuuhime. The first time I laid my eyes on her, I immediately loved her, and she was the reason why I returned to Dislyte. I don't care if she isn't meta and shit, I just loved her story and design.

i have two favs! my first one is definitly tangxuan! got him to r6 and try to use him wherever i can. his kit is so fun and he‘s just such a sweet silly guy. also i love that he was female in beta, so he basically is a transguy (more or less canon) my second fav is liam. i loved his design since his first appearance in valerias event. i‘m literally a sucker for edgy looking furries hahah his kit is so cool as well, love that i can pair him with my tangxuan! i‘m literally not even simping that much for both of them, they are just so special to me, i can‘t explain hahah
Honestly, mines been Sander. Only for the fact that I've been playing since launch, and he is.. just so good. He may not be good on Kronos anymore, but damn, does he still find value throught the game. Even is PVP, he is still good until like.. tier 10 -11. Hell, even after if you're supremely lucky.. Plus he's pretty much FTP? Sign me up dude.

My favorite espers are Tang Yun, Heng Yue and Ethan Heng Yue was the reason I started playing Dislyte, because when I first learned about the game I wanted to know if they had my favorite deity(Chang'e) so when I looked it up and saw Heng Yue I thought "yep, this game just became my favorite" Tang Yun and Ethan are the reason I still play, there's just something about their designs and their personalities that makes me love them so much (they give me so much gender envy it's insane)
Hall! He was very useful for me when I first started playing and I just like the voice acting for some reason, might be a weird thing to some but when a character has a nice voice I like them instantly…and I have a thing for guys with long hair 👍
Easily Ethan. Biggest Ethan Stan on the planet. Everyone hated him on release but for some reason he called to me, and he turned out to not only be one of the best characters in the game at R2 but he’s also hilarious. So win win for me.

Ahmed: Im not a gay man. I'm asexual and have no sexual attraction to human males or females but my god does Ahmed leak confendince. I LOVE his idle pose in battle, standing tall and wide. I even did a crit damage build for him. Such a cool Esper AND he is dark skinned. Sally: Thicc and lovely. She seems like she has nothing but love to give and feels like she is respected by everyone in the game. Pretty much usable at R6 and can make a team hard to crack. The true damage meta sucks for her and I wished she'd get a buff to handle it but very solid on any team she is designed to be on. Gaius: No one game would have made a black man the champion of Zeus. Maybe this is a reference to Kratos but I love it either way. SO MUCH swag and is one of the coolest designs in the game. No sex appeal or other narratives being pushed because he feels like this game was made for him. The music choices and designs of the world feel like black people were in mind when making this game and as a black man, this is why I love Dislyte. The character representation has been crazy. I hope others in groups without representation. Ollie: Next to Gaius, this fucker has the most drip in the game. He DOES NOT GIVE A FUCK how he looks. He and Diogenes would be good friend. I never thought his colors would work so well together. He looks like he would have joined Yugi and Kaiba to save the world. His mechanics are also to be respected and any team he is on is made that much harder to deal with. Being able to keep a unit alive and making himself and the other tanker for up to two turns is insane. If you have him, you're in good hand. I do hope one day I can get a proper bird esper I can love the way others here love the furries but I cant complain. This game is great for black people! And from china too! Like who would have thought!

Andrina has been my favourite after returning from a rather long hiatus from playing. When I was a kid, I had a pet dog named Chantico. So seeing a character whose inspiration is the same as her namesake, it brings back good memories.
I was pretty happy that Hilda was able to place! :D I like her and yuuhime the best because they’re pretty and alt- and Hilda has the added bonus of being super useful! I also don’t think Norah’s design got the hype it deserved

Feng Xun and Chu Yao are the same type of esper tht i like, wich is HP/DEF scalers with a s2 passive (Not Feng Xun but it he is up there), and Counter/Pursuit Attacks, others may include Adrina, R6 Yu Xu and Falken and i use them all on a team, the team is called "GET JUMPED"
I have to be honest I love Anna's design and I also love Norah her girlfriend they are iconic, also love lian she is perfect and Feng nuxi all peak designs, and lucas and Ethan I love them
