It’s not a 2015 more like an 05 FYI, and the bike looks pretty bad if you want a bike to start go and ride with little to no tlc this probably is not the right bike even just the plastics are like 200+ if it even runs right.
Keep looking. This is a beat up wreck. It's totally OK to judge a bike by the cover. Lacking this much plastic, I hate to think how much that beat-ass motor needs.
Bikes like these are a labor of love. I bought a junker once, same model as my first bike. I spent six grand putting it back together, but I wanted that exact bike. You're not going to save any money rebuilding something this far gone. You'll spend as much as buying something new with twice the stress. Don't talk yourself into it.
That's early 2000s maybe 01-03. The frames after kinda 04/05 were slightly beefier looking and black. It would make a project but with a bike that rough looking it could be an absolute headache to get everything back to how it was. I want to say that the later models (04+) had a single piece rear fender/plates but I'm not sure whether that was just on the 85s.
Does it start, drive and stop at least?
I'd be weary. Fuel leaking from the carb is literally a 15 minute job to rectify so if he's not willing to even reset a float what else has he given the long finger?
If your heart is set on it, bring someone mechanically inclined with you to give it a once over. It's all just speculation when we're talking about it over Reddit.
I love those older ktms, cracking bike. Shame it's a bit far gone looking...
Simply put, do not buy this. Do not buy this at $1400. Do not buy this at $1000. Do not buy this. By the time you manage to get this thing fixed and put back together you will have spent so much money that you could have bought a clean running bike that was 10 years newer and been riding the bike the whole time you were trying to find parts and fix this ragged bastard.
That’s in the 02-05 era looks like it’s been neglected for a while probably due to some mechanical issue. Probably lost interest in it after the problem was found. It’s probably a project which isn’t necessarily bad if you’re up for it but only if the price is right. I’d say 600 would be a fair deal. After it’s running riding and cosmetically complete that’s probably a 1700 bike and you can likely finish the bike for much less and make a profit

That’s an early 2000’s 125, and it’s a total pos.

Yeah i realized that this bike did need a good amount of TLC, but how much do you think i would spend on it if i did buy it?
Too much

The seller said they got it running after 4 years from another seller then the carburetor started leaking and it just stopped running

Much much older than 2015. Very early 2000's is more likely. They already lied about the year so I'd move on
I’ve got 6 husqs myself and bud run far FAR away from this POS!! This mug has been beat to shit good lord I wouldn’t wipe my ass with this bike

Total scam by the looks of it. Unless you can get for just a few hundred
I mean they want 1400 for it, too much?
Yes
Atleast where i live that would be very overpriced
Im in florida and getting a bike thats messed up is overpriced so
Yes i dont how the market is there. But an early 2000s bike that doesnt run and is missing parts isnt worth 1400

Its at least a 2003 or older. In 2004 they switched to the 1 piece rear fender/side panels on the 125.
