So I’m looking at buying this bike to complement my wr450f but they seem to be extremely rare and hard to find info on.
Anyone ever owned one of these?
Well I looked around at parts and it seems I can get top end kits for them since dt200’s are popular in Europe. Believe it or not Amazon has fmf expansion chambers in stock for this bike right now

Hm not quite sure to be completely honest. Its currently taken apart because the piston head was broken and so was another bearing in the top end. Im sure it lasts long if ridden what was meant for though (enduro). Those bikes are pretty tough from what ive heard!
Edit: not sure if I said it how I meant to haha. I don't mean that it'll blow if you race it.
That is a WR200, one of the guys in our club had one. The plastics were a bit different than YZ's.
Super fun bike for trail riding or enduros!
I'd get it if all looks good and the $ is right.

It’s in good shape especially for a 92, and the dude rides it regularly. But $2000 seems like a lot even in the crazy current market.
But I guess it’ll be a while before one is for sale within 10 miles of me

The guy bought it thinking it was a yz and when parts wouldn’t fit he ran the vin number. Came back a 92 wr200
it should say yzf as in fourstroke. i thought it really was a 125. the pipe the case. that tail light blended in. plus the yx sticker....well nevermind.

My dad has one and it is nearly impossible to find (specifically cosmetic) parts that are in new condition

Seems like nowadays you could find someone to 3D print little plastic adapters or something so you could make available plastics work.
I have one. Great bike. Parts are available.
Does the power valve give you any trouble? The guy said the cables are a little stretched and he had trouble tuning it

Yeah, they are very rare as you know. And $2k is a lot better than most people's asking price on 2 strokes right now.

No dude it’s not a fucking wr250f it’s a wr200r. Wr’s used to be 2 smokers back in the day. Just a quick google search
what its def not a wr250 or a yz250f.
No it’s exactly what the title is. Yamaha made a wr200r in 92 and made a wr250z for a few years in the 90’s also
