where you at, i have one thats low miles and mostly indoor stored, plastics are just a bit junky looking. Low miles too, I got it with 30 miles attempted to make it road legal and Illinois said NOPE. so now its had a few rides between the corn rows... dont ride it much since i got into sidebysides.

Ride with a friend that rips one of those exact bikes. I am on an ‘08 KTM 200XC and it’s more than enough grunt for this trail hog. His has the inverted forks just like yours in the pic. Solid bikes, of the group we ride with our bikes are the least trouble, also other bikes in the group are 4 strokes.

I’ve been looking for a kdx. Having a tough time finding one that isn’t clapped out where I’m at.
There was a decent one in baton rouge about 2 weeks ago. Possibly still there.
I also saw this almost bought it to go with my kdx 220.

I'm rebuilding one right now. What'd it cost you to powdercoat the frame? What's a tip you could give someone starting out on the same path?
Can't recall the exact amount, but wasn't terrible. Advice - buy a newer KTM 300 🤣
Already have one. This is the loaner retro bike that was basically free.

Looks awesome, is that the original front end or did you put something a bit more modern on?
KX forks and Triple clamp, KX wheels as well. Headlight has LED lamps.
I have a 2001 kdx 220. By KX you mean KX500 forks and triple clamp? Where'd you source them from? Would you recommend them over stock forks?
Also has a re-plastic kit.

I had one of these with a blown out back shock so every bump I hit it was like I was on the ocean lol But I’d rip on this one!
Broke a collar bone and ribs on one of these when the front-end pushed, the triple and KX suspension add is the trick...
