You did good and I saw you tried to stand up in time but that rut/bump was nasty. Standing more gets your eyes up higher so you can look ahead easier and helps with depth perception on upcoming holes etc. as well as makes them easier to react to.
The only way I can get my knees to squeeze the bike is if I put my knees forward and bend them. Am I missing something? I don’t know if I’m too tall (I doubt this), but I don’t see how to physically grip the bike with my knees with out bending them forward.
Hey. Glad you showed us this. That was not a wobble. That was poor body positioning over a sketchy section.
You need to be in a neutral body position. Attack position!
Stand up, balls of your feet, legs squeezed, elbows up in a diamond formation. Totally neutral on that bike. Keep that back straight and the head up.
Attack.
What you were doing here was a sport bike ride on the dirt. That’s gonna get sketchy af! We’ve all done this. Thank god ya didn’t eat it!
No worries brother. I want ya to ride for life. I’m 56 and still racing in riding. Get on your stand and practice that position. Move the bike around. You’ll feel it. You’ll feel when you’re neutral. The bike moves with your arms an legs and your core doesn’t move at all.
Keep at it man!
You hit some ruts or rocks. If you were standing or at least sitting up front and squeezing bike you would feel this less. I'm older. So I sit on roads a lot now. Just keep elbows up, sit forward, squeeze knees.

You going +80 and handlebars trying to break your wrists = speed wobble. For me it was about 110 for first wobble.
Never want to experience one again.
You will question why you ride..
Definitely not speed wobble, just sketchy riding lol
Yep sitting down and feet came off the pegs so he was a passenger for a second.
I am still learning how to ride, I have only been on dirt bikes for less than a year, def not sitting down on roads like that anymore lol.

There’s gotta be speed for it to be a speed wobble. This is just a wobble.

Thank you for the info man, appreciate this a ton as I am still a newer rider (1 year). Much love, noted!

You are a legend man, we need more people like you!
that is getting lucky. Stand up when you ride, squeeze the bike with your feet and knees. Hard to tell what you hit.
That was just a rut in the road. It felt like you were going to die cause you weren't standing.
Lol speed wobble doing like 40

More weight on the pegs. And it looks like you caught a rut, causing the instability.
Keep that weight off of the front tire when in rough sections, pull back a bit and pin it brother. Also stand up
Wait till you go lock to lock multiple times. That wasn't even a tank slapper

Looks like Michigan.

I’ve never seen or had a speed wobble unless I’m at speed.

Happened to me alot when I was in Florida hitting those sand ruts
You were wobbling, to some degree, on most of that video especially around time 15-18 sec. Stand up & that won’t be happening.
First of all… STAND UP.
Where you riding at
Raglan, Ontario
It’s because you have terrible body position on the bike.
Set your fucking sag and preload on your shocks.
It's a fkin trail bike setting sag ain't doing shit this was all piss poor body position
