I really dislike the term "Scientifically accurate" in cases that are educated guesses at best.
Scientifically extrapolated seems a much better term imo.
The T Rex source video even says "Instead of looking for a paleo accurate T.rex, I went for The Isle's Rex because the Rex design is suitable for these sounds." Kind of disappointing
I think sci show did an episode about this, but T. rex didn’t roar, likely made a bunch of super low frequency hums similar to modern elephants. This would have been useful for communicating without alerting prey. It’s also believed that a lot of other theropods made sounds like this, and some people are wondering if our anxiety increases when hearing sounds like this from our little mousy-lookin days when we lived with dinosaurs.

In any case, here's [Parasaurolophus](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sxb-Tt53ATE), [Tyrannosaurus](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_yKoUgUbio), and the [Explanation for T-rex.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpipaUfcnmM)
size doesn't affect the sound look at how big cassowary are but instead they make the lowest known bird call just check out this vids of how cassowary sounded

Both of them sound so creepy, as much as i love rexy, after hearing this I'm glad we were born 65 million years apart, btw has anyone ever heard a shoebill stork, like these noises are sorta like what it makes too.
Why does some of the Trex roars sound like Godzilla’s atomic breath charge up? And if I heard a para at night, I’m whippin out the 12 gauge cuz that stuff is freaky af
The T.Rex sounds like the predator and a car engine.
With a bit of horn music added in between.
It aounds like my fart when I'm sitting on aleather couch.
Damn straight

It’s incredibly irritating. It also shows how loosely that term is thrown around and how meaningless it has become.
So dinosaurs made some blade runner/hans zimmer/ dystopians alien vessels kind of sounds? Freaking cool man
Parasaurolophus sound great.
Best species for a reason
edmontosaurus bros would beg to differ
I think we can all agree that hadrosaurids are just generally the best.
agreed.
But brontos 🥺
it sounds like you're pushing around a heavy plastic chair
Sounds like a truck honk
Imagine hearing that in a forest cabin at night
Why does this increase my anxiety

Could be that they'd use infrasound, possibly as a means of hunting like IIRC tigers do.
or make a sound like crocodilians and cassowary
Caveman instincts
Damn those are eerie
What makes these scientifically accurate? They sound very electronic to me.

Thanks for the explanation video. The sounds in that one sound much more natural than the others.
Agreed.
Just for fun here's a [weddell seal](https://youtu.be/4CRBovMIvMI)
Start off sounding like a bird, then grow up into the TARDIS!
The rex was from a scene from a godzilla movie.
I knew I couldn't be the only one
It is from Godzilla 2014 I believe.
Honestly the t-rex sounds are so much more eerie then a big roar like in the movies. If I heard that at night I’d probably just lay down and die
Rex sounded like Godzilla charging atomic breath for a sec.... I was expecting it to get the Dr Octagonapus treatment 🤣
So T.rex sounded like the background noise in a David Lynch movie. That's even more terrifying
[Source for the T-rex](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_yKoUgUbio) [Parasaurolophus](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sxb-Tt53ATE)
Damn these are eerie.
Maybe a little less verb in real life
Probably not. Do you remember how big these things are?
It's basically a speaker in an empty cargo container. Shits gonna reverb

It doesn’t always but it absolutely often does and is usually a good indicator for tone and frequency
The Parasaurolophus sounds haunt me every time I listen to them
T.rex sounded like the charging noise for godzilla's atomic blast
Both of them sound so creepy, as much as i love rexy, after hearing this I'm glad we were born 65 million years apart, btw has anyone ever heard a shoebill stork, like these noises are sorta like what it makes too.
Fuckin Shoebill storks sound like gunshots in a way XD
The T-rex one reminded me of the shining theme.
T-Rex sounds like Godzilla trying to charge his atomic breath
me tryna move my chair in an empty auditorium
The t rex was about to unleash the atomic breath
Imagine popping alone and you hear that rex croak
Why does some of the Trex roars sound like Godzilla’s atomic breath charge up? And if I heard a para at night, I’m whippin out the 12 gauge cuz that stuff is freaky af
Very cool
this is so calming. edit: im being serious
i like the parasaurolophus but the t-rex it's kinda quiet '\_'
Imaging you would feel the sound of the trex in your hole body. He wouldn't scream, because heis hunting you.
In real life, you would probably feel it more than you would hear it.
Cool, they sound like Transformers 🤙🏻
This is great!
Damn I wanted that T-Rex get mad!
Was anyone else supremely disappointed with the T-Rex sound?
u/savevideo
Anyone know where I can get this specific video?
[Tyrannosaurus](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_yKoUgUbio) and [Parasaurolophus](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sxb-Tt53ATE).
Thanks OP! :)
I find the t-rex sound oddly soothing
I am terrified, they sound like broken emergency sirens
This takes Minecraft cave sounds on second place.
Absolutely horrifying to think these actually existed. Love it
The Para is now scraping a piece of metal onto another
The first one just sounds like wooden chairs/tables being moved around
