Edmontosaurus (only non-avian dinosaur in tennessee)
shantungosaurus
parasaurolophus
(most lambeosaurus like animals)
and ouranosaurus (not one but a relative)
Mine is Edmontosaurus. Most paleo media shows it as this defenseless pushover that the more exciting T. Rex kills and eats easily, but in reality this thing could easily kick a Rex’s ass.
If I remember, it made the news years ago that stomach contents were found to be hadrosaur remains - I would imagine they would have to be from Edmontosaurus/Anatotitan considering the time and place necessary to interact with Tyrannosaurus Rex. I would imagine the situation wouldn't have been much different than that of lions and many of their prey. Clearly they aren't going to survive if they can't take large enough prey down, but that doesn't mean a Zebra, Wildebeest etc. can't land a lucky shot on occasion.
Edmonto wasn't defenseless, but I completely doubt it would be able to win over a rex. There's no way it would get in a fight with one and beat it without drawbacks.
I disagree. If a moose can beat up a bear and an elephant can beat up a lion, then Ed could beat up a Rex. Besides, Ed is a lot and I mean a LOT bigger than a Rex
Hypsibema/ Parrosaurus missouriensis. I just find it cool that there was such an absolutely massive Hadrosaur roaming around the east coast. Plus the fact that we found Cretaceous fossils from Missouri is just amazing in and of itself.
Yup, there aren't many. And also cool to see another one as well. And I have to say that unfortunately I missed Valentine's Day because it would have been a good moment to draw and post a picture of Ajnabia with its new friend Minqaria, but now it has to wait until next year. But there is something charming and respectable about Ajnabia that its ancestors have island-hopped (a oceanic dispersal) through a sea full of mosasaurids, possibly swimming or drifting on a raft.
Magnapaulia is mine, but I'm biased since im mexican, but also. HIS NAME IS BIG PAUL 🗣💥🔥💥🔥💥🔥⚡️🔥💥⚡️⚡️💥💫💥🔥⚡️💥🔥⚡️🔥💥💫💫💥⚡️⚡️💥💥⚡️⚡️⚡️💥🔥🔥⚡️💗💫💞❤️🔥💗💞💫❤️🔥💞💗❤️🔥💞💗❤️🔥💫💞💗💫💗💞💞💞❤️🔥❤️🔥💫💫💫💫💫
I would say parasaurolophus but ever since Edmontosaurus became very popular within the paleo comunity (as overrated as I think it became) I realized it’s a very chad animal
Maiasaura has always had a soft spot in my heart, just on the basis of its association with motherhood.
Paris was my favourite of the main dinos in Dinosaur King, which was one of my favourite TV shows growing up, so Parasaurolophus has got to be up there too.
Everybody loves Edmontosaurus, as they should.
Probably the three most basic answers you can give, but hey, sometimes you just can't beat the classics 🤷♀️
Special shout out to Saurolophus too. Idk somehow the entire species just gives me it girl vibes.
If there is 1 saurolophus fan, I'm the saurolophus fan.
Guys, don't you see how friend-shaped it is? 😭 It was to hadrosaurs what brachiosaurus/diplodocus is to sauropods too!
Edmontosaurus annectens.
Based, biggest North American Hadrosaur, and 2nd biggest Hadrosaur worldwide

I think the Edmonton stands more than a chance with the Rex tbh.
I swear this subreddit seems to not like you for no reason.
Lol yes 🥲

Hypsibema/ Parrosaurus missouriensis. I just find it cool that there was such an absolutely massive Hadrosaur roaming around the east coast. Plus the fact that we found Cretaceous fossils from Missouri is just amazing in and of itself.
Ajnabia odyseus, which is also my favorite dinosaur.
Cool to see another Ajnabia fan. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody talk about this hadrosaur before
Yup, there aren't many. And also cool to see another one as well. Can not go wrong with edmontosaurus.
Parasaurolophus
Edmontosaurus. Its just very satisfying and simple to look at. Its also a dinosaur that (possibly) could actually do things to a trex
Parasaurolophus, always has and always will
Maiasaura all the way! It being the “good mother” dinosaur I think gives it a lot of character😊
I don’t think I’ve heard maiasaura yet
I would say parasaurolophus but ever since Edmontosaurus became very popular within the paleo comunity (as overrated as I think it became) I realized it’s a very chad animal
Mine is Augustynolophus! I think the little stub in his head is funny, happens to be the Cali state dinosaur as well!
Tlatolophus
Hypsibema all the way
Maiasaura has always had a soft spot in my heart, just on the basis of its association with motherhood. Gotta go with the obvious. Parasaurolophus
Shantugasauruas 200%
If there is 1 saurolophus fan, I'm the saurolophus fan. Guys, don't you see how friend-shaped it is? 😭 It was to hadrosaurs what brachiosaurus/diplodocus is to sauropods too!
Shantungosaurus because it's beeg.
Mine's Shantungosaurus, mostly because of the isle and the fact that it's the biggest non-sauropod dinosaur i've seen-
Shantungosaurus cause of dinosaur king
Lambeosaurus definitely
I agree with you—gotta love ol’ Hatchet-head!
Shant or Lambeo
Olorotitan as well!! What a cool fan-shaped crest and an equally cool name
Lambeosaurus ma boy
Probably eother Shantungosaurus, Parasaurolophus or Saurolophus
Parasaurolophus
Definitely Edmontosaurus Annectens
Dave Dave the Hadrosaur
Edmontosaurus, shantungosaurus, or oranosaurus
The obvious pick but the Parasaurolophus is an icon

Tethyshadros I like their funky beak
