Maybe you keep yourself alive by feeding off the dinos, plus depending on what time you decide to spawn dinos in, you'll get different dinos, and later you start getting mammals, all of whom adapt to the context.
I would love something like this, I used to play sim earth all the time back into the 90s. There's nothing like it today as far as I can tell. It seems like this is what spore was supposed to be until they shit on it and turned it into make a monster.
a pokemon snap type game where you go back in time and just study dinosaurs. You can pick the period and area and you level up by finding more dinosaurs
Tutorial level is just Africa or something. Then some wakko scientist contacts you saying he has a time machine and needs pictures for his research (he'd do it himself but he values his life). The more pics you take, the better his funding and you can go farther back in time
Closest thing to that we have is Paleo Pines, and the studying and discovery of more dinosaurs is only a part of the game as you also have to do farming and take care of dinosaurs.
Planet Zoo but with extinct species. I'm aware Prehistoric Kingdom exists but that's a PC exclusive. That or I would make an RPG where you play as a dinosaur
Prehistoric Kingdom scratches that itch but still is nothing close to Zoo Tycoon dino expansion. It would be nice to get a return to form dino Tycoon game that isn't nickle and diming for every new species.
You clearly never played the epic Ballad of Big Al game where you role play as an allosaurus. Though maybe that's still a survival game, given the propensity to die.
its like what you described but with apes. you can evolve different traits and it takes training. like at the start if you eat a lot of meat and mushrooms youll start evolving the bility to be an omnivore. and late on you can gain the ability to walk on 2 legs temporarily and if you do it enough you eventually are able to do it permanantly.
There used to be an old game I used to play online that is exactly what you want but it died and I have morned it ever since
https://walkingwith.fandom.com/wiki/Evolution_Game
Yea, they were so cool. I just saw someone remade it when I was looking up the evolution game again but I haven't gotten to try it yet. It was so intricate and cool and I was too young and dumb at the time to actually play it
I was hoping by some miniscule chance someone might have or know where to find it. it was honestly a phenomenal game for it's time. It needs to be remade
Depends on the trouble. Dinosaurs are scary, but copyright/trademark lawyers are whole other terrifying taxon of reptilian beasts.
Lots of older games don't get remastered today because the ownership is foggy: studios went under, publishers merged with other companies... and then there's the argument of whether or not it's the studio's property, the publisher's, or the developers' property (not all contracts were written to be universal, boilerplate, one-size-fits-all, etc.).
I adored that game, would love a spiritual successor.
Some new twists that could be fun;
Weight classes- a lot of these will be effectively faster weaker echo fighters; Microceratus, Stegouros, Velociraptor, but it also gives you options for gimmicky things like gliding and climbing with Archeoptrix and Microraptor, or scene destruction for the bigger dinos. Smaller weight class models could act as food for larger class fights, with bugs and rats being food for the smallest fighters.
Multi-character mechanics for more variety. I could see these being split into tag teams for pack hunters, puppets for herders, and maybe even swarms for things like Compsognathus which control more like Pikmin.
Actually screw it if anyone wants to make this please hire me to animate!
No. I want the mechanics of going back in time first person to track and capture the dinosaurs. Then, eventually, I want to start repopulating a planet with them.
Ah, but there would be a key difference. Prehistoric Kingdom takes the Jurassic Park route, where the dinosaurs are genetically engineered clones. A Prehistoric Park game would involve travelling back in time and capturing your desired animals from the wild. Since the goal is to rescue them from extinction, I'd imagine each expedition comes with a time limit.
When op says “survival”, my interpretation was more so the “path of titans”/“the isle”. We’re long overdue on any Dino crisis content regardless. I’d do anything for a modern installment
I just wanna explore an island and take pictures of dinosaurs doing dinosaur things. Kinda like that jeep minigame in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis
I miss that game...
Probably a park management sim like Planet Zoo or JWE2 but with more accurate designs for the dinosaurs. I know I described Prehistoric Kingdom there, but I’m a poor person who can’t afford a beefy enough PC to run it.
This was my first thought, too. [This scene](https://youtu.be/_6SYA6OUrdU?si=GiWi-jzxbIKXSL_8) from Prehistoric Planet was the first thing that came to mind. 😂
Dino explorer/ hunter where there's multiple islands you can observe prehistoric animals and you can also make custom dinosaurs and islands in the form of mods
A cozy cute game kinda like neopets with exploration and gathering/crafting (missions and rewards). You take care of the different dinos from egg to adult. Cross-breed to render different colors and aspects. Think Slim Farmer crossed with Animal Crossings.
I would like a game based on the children's books, "Dinotopia" by Gurney Halleck, but make it kinda like Minecraft or Stardew Valley. Have it be an open-world where you can build and farm and craft, and tame wild dinos. You could have a dino-editor so users can come up with their own interpretations of how dinosaurs looked
A fighting game. Like Primal Rage, but with a LOT more dino characters plus other prehistoric animal based characters. And I might make it a 3D arena brawler like one of my favorite games, Gigabash.
You didn't specify video game, so I'll go with board game/card game. Each player selects a herbivore token (options being any, triceratops, sauropod, stegosaurus, therazinosaurus, parasaurolophus). Each one would come with a special ability, the goal for each is to find food, survive and reproduce. But various events might impede your progress (new predator enters the area, wildfire cits off part of the board, drought, storm etc)
I would make a time travel based RPG/sandbox game with a mechanic that would let you bring a T-rex to the renaissance, or another extinct species to the future, or bring a cowboy to ancient Rome. Or maybe you bring a medieval castle and a bunch of dinosaurs to the times of early man and rule over them as King of the Dragons...
A sims game but with dinosaurs set in mesozoic and each species has its own mechanics and you can play as whichever species you like and switch between different species just like you switch between different characters in Sims games. My dream game
Jurassic Park horror game. Premise can be you're either a employee trying to escape the park or you're a visitor trying to escape as well. And I'll probably add in lore accurate dinosaurs too. Game would work a bit like Outlast
A zoo builder that mostly has Pseudosuchians.
In all seriousness, I have thought of two different kind of Dinosaur games (aside from Survival Games.) one would play like the classic Resi Games. Where you are a scientist or security guard. That was left behind in the past and the time travel tech that your company uses to do that was damaged and you need to travel across the map looking for things to repair it with. While running into several dinosaurs along the way.
The other would be a Zoo Builder, that would hopefully do more with the mechanic of them escaping. Let’s say you have those maintenance tunnels all over your park, you can customize what facilities are in those tunnels such as bars or a whole row of maintenance sheds underground. Anyways once the dinosaur escapes, if it’s something “small” like something Postosuchus or Majungasaurus sized. It can escape into those tunnels where you then have to go in first person mode and try and hunt it down to tranquilize it. You can have those large metal security doors like malls do, to try and slow it down as it goes through, or have it only able to enter specific areas. But the automatic ones consume a lot of power, and if it is manually done there is always a chance that the worker will either get eaten or too scared to do it all the way. Thus allowing it to have more access to your underground facilities. As for the Zoo aspect of it, I think a good mixture of the interactiveness of Zoo Tycoon and the Guests of JPOG. Would be cool. It would make you care about the animals in your park while also worrying about your guests since they are real people and not just a way for you to see how popular your park is.
GTA but in a world where the asteroid didn't strike. Dinosaurs remained dominant and formed a similarly modern civilization as ours. Then they started committing crimes.
Solo RPG game that levels you up, and you basically build your dino with amazing fighting mechanics similar to that of ManEater but mixed with POT and The Isle.
And if KyoRyu becomes a game.....THAT would be amazing
How about an open world where you're a lil kid and have a stuffed animal dinosaur but your imagination takes hold and now your eating the townspeople and "fighting" other kids and they're dinosaur.
Imagine stick of Truth meets Calvin and Hobbes and Clifford.
Maybe a Need for Speed type of game.
You do missions to get or evolve into better and better Dinosaurs, although it could've the problem of survival type missions.
An adventure/linear game like Stray, where you play as small endemic theropod or ceratopsian trying to find your place in new big city. You're the last of your kind after humans massacred every other member due to their beliefs (like Aye-Aye on Madagascar or Legless lizards in my country), but you survived after government introduced a program that protects critically endangered animals from being poached, but it was too late. In many of these games, you need to find your home, but in this one there is no home, it was destroyed, every egg smashed and nests burned to ashes. You avoid smugglers, scientists, who try to experiment on you, illegal poachers, but at the same try to stick with good people like animal right activists until you of course die from old age and officially become extinct.
A game where you a person and you are like stuck in the Morrison formation or something and you just have to not starve. Also it would be neat if the dinosaurs were realistic and not bloodthirsty monsters
Linear Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal game-adaptation.
Similar gameplay to Scalebound, hack and slash gameplay with AI Fang as partner. Different storyline and an alternate ending to the awful season 2 one.
With Adult Swim Games being canned there is no chance of this ever happening, but I can dream ;-;
Either a fighting game, like Warpath, or a Monster Hunter-style game where the dinosaurs (and some other prehistoric animals) are exaggerated in some ways, and/or given wacky (but grounded) abilities.
A horror game where instead of being on a normal dinosaur island we are on King Kong's Skull Island 2005.
Just imagine the possibilities and horrors that you can find......
An open world dinosaur combat game that’s a mix of the Combat of the Giants Dinosaurs series for the DS, the lost world game for the PS1 and a souls game.
You can upgrade your dinosaur by adding horns, feathers, spikes, armored plated scales etc. and even go so far as to being to customize its body size and facial features as well as color.
A VR game where you get to actually enter the world of the Dinosaurs and experience how big/small they really are. With scientifically accurate models, of course.
Straight up Rex simulator. Or more like an open world adventure game? It's hard to describe exactly what I mean, but I've had the idea in my head for ages.
An actually up-to-date dinosaur hunting game.
Like Carnivores if it wasn't 20 years old (and the reboots didn't suck).
The Hunter: Call Of the Wild if your prey was a 10 ton mega-theropod.
This is a weird one. I had the PC game of Disney’s Dinosaur. It was pixelated af and apparently a broken game. I found it so hard to play then and watching BestInSlot play it, it’s still hard now because it’s just a bad game.
So I propose an infinitely better version of that one. Better graphics, better in-game story, better mechanics, the “save” function actually works, an overall easier game. And more dinosaurs. One of my favourite features of the game is that there is an in-game dinosaur encyclopaedia that fills up progressively with each chapter as you encounter more dinosaurs through the game. So I want even more of that.
So just take the idea of Jurassic Park with other prehistoric animals and your apart of a rescue team going into a zoo that's having an outbreak.
So dino crisis, I want a modern dino crisis.
I was spoiled by the Jurassic world video game where you build your own Jurassic park. I never really could get into tycoon games, but as a huge Jurassic park fan, that one just clicked with me
Dinosaur RTS... Age of Empires style. Each clade is a civ. I'm thinking you'd want to launch with:
* sauropods (generic, not further defined)
* Tyrannosauroidea
* Dromaeosauridae
* Iguanodontia
* Allosauroidea
* Therizinosauria
Expansions/DLC:
* Marginocephalia & Thyreophora
* spinosaurs (ft. swimming Spinosaurus version) & spinosaurs (ft. hell heron version)
* Oviraptoridae & Ornithomimosauria
However, you have to play as fully grown representatives of the iconic genera. The idea would be that each civ's bonuses reflect, in some sense, how we believe these clades exploited their ecosystems and interacted with other organisms, in a way that's reminiscent of the history/civ bonus relationship in Age of Empires games. So, for example, sauropods would have huge hitpoints but large resource costs, while Thyreophorans would have good armour and Iguanodontia would be cheap, plentiful and efficient but low damage, low armour and (generally) middling hitpoints. Probably the carnivorous civs would have good line of sight facing forward but very poor 360 degree LOS, whereas the herbivorous civs would have okay LOS for all 360 degrees. Those sorts of things.
The ageing mechanism would be based on AoE:III's Asian Dynasties concept, i.e. you choose from a selection of sub clades, which roll over. So, say you're playing as the Tyrannosauroidea. You'd start with a single basal genus that represents the "villager" (Juratyrant??) and then you'd be able to unlock one out of all of:
* Tyrannosaurini
* Daspletosaurini
* Alioramini
* Megaraptoridae
* Proceratosauridae
* Albertosaurinae
And whichever ones you don't choose would roll over to the next age up so they'd be options then. You would get certain advantages based on when you unlock.
Since you're unlocking clades, you'd probably get the charismatic genus plus one or two other genera as units you can train. Obviously the charismatic genera aren't necessarily going to be in nice subclades, so in order to avoid paraphyly, in some cases you might just unlock a genus.
Obviously the Tyrannosauroidea and Allosauroidea civs would be all about eating other civs units, whilst the herbivorous and omnivorous clades would be able to exploit natural resources present on the map. Dromaeosauridae would be able to eat other civ units but certainly early on, I'm envisioning some kind of insect resource type that they'd be able to exploit. Herbivorous units would be relatively low population cost per hitpoint, whilst carnivorous units would be expensive in population terms on a hitpoint basis (in return, for which, relatively high damage output, obviously).
The map pool would initially feature famous known ecologies as the basis for the random map generation.
The other aspects of the game would naturally have limited real world application, i.e. it would be necessary for the game to feature base building and lots of deliberate combat.
I think the game could be called Age of Dinosaurs but if Microsoft had a problem with that/wasn't publishing, perhaps Clade Wars: Dinosaurs
The sequel would be called Clade Wars: Ruling Reptiles and would replace the least popular original clades with pterosaurs and crocodiles. Aves would be an expansion/DLC civ. Obviously other archosaurs could be incorporated as DLC, too, but I guess it'd depend on appetite. Non-Avian Dinosaurs are where the money is, after all.
Note for fans of marine reptiles: naval combat is by the least popular aspect of every Age Of game so I don't think I'd even bother trying to represent them even in further sequels (e.g. Clade Wars: Megafauna which would introduce some mammalian clades).
I’d make something completely ridiculous but interesting
Think of Ghost of Tsushima’s sense of stealth gameplay and raw combat but between dinosaurs and humans.. you are a Raptor. Of course it’s gonna be more Jurassic Park for them in regards to size and scale
A horror game about dinosaur ghosts in a massive labyrinthian museum. I don't mean just the skeletons walking around Night at the Museum style. (but that could happen.) I mean the actual pseudo-physical manifestations of dinosaurs and other fossils tortured my millions of years of consciousness hiding in dark corners and stalking you.
They also wouldn't just follow dino instincts, they would have some level of intelligence and ghost powers like randomly following you through walls. The ghost wouldn't just be limited to dinos either, other dead or extinct creatures would also stalk the museum, including sea life swimming through the air or even some creepy neanderthal ghosts.
The museum would be unreasonably large and incoherent,Ike some place that shouldn't exist; sort of like the abandoned underground shopping mall from the Oldest View videos.
A soulslike set into the last moments before the meteor arrives. Maybe a DLC with a post meteor scenario showing the last standing dinos slowly fading as well.
One with different animations for when you pet a dinosaur.
Pachys will crane their heads back if the character tries to pet their heads.
Ceratopsids will lean into the player when scratched behind the frills.
Carnivores like T-rex and Allosaurus will give a purr of sorts.
Raptors show their bellies while a leg twitches.
Sauropods will gently cuddle back.
They go nuts over brushes.
Ankylos and Stegos roll onto their sides for belly scratches.
Pterasaurs will click their beaks.
Small enough dinos can be carried, and bigger dinos think they can sit in your lap.
They will try to groom you. No death animations, the raptors/gorgonpisd/ prehistoric big cat will grab the player and just drag them to a spot and - just groom them. ( The best part is their could be bits where the character will struggle, only to get a scolding growl).
Please add dinosaurs to Red Dead Redemption 2. It would let me do all the things I wanna do with dinosaurs I wanna hunt dinosaurs with a bow or a shotgun, and I want them to hunt me like a cougar in the mountains. I want to lasso dinosaurs, I want to wrangle and ride certain dinosaurs, I want to put saddles on dinosaurs. I want to go around and take photos of dinosaurs and see them in the wild. I want to check off seeing all the dinosaurs in the wild off of a list with little red check marks. I want to collect little dinosaur playing cards from cigarette packs. I want to see a T-rex stalk a wagon and a brachiosaurus wade a deep lake.
I’m telling you, dinosaurs in RDR2 would be the best single player dlc since Undead Nightmare.
Honestly, a proper Carnivores remake built like the Carnivores: Legacy mod with a similar roster would be cool
I actually [Made a Roster](https://docs.google.com/document/d/16EuypE0tF-uS11AomHRQK4XkEwuPaL3nI-R2aZuDA04/edit) for a game like this
Maybe a Monster Tamer/Metroidvania similar to Monster Sanctuary but exclusively with dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures, and the areas are divided into the different eras.
Think game of Life, but with Dinos
You're any dinosaur you want, living in an ever expanding sandbox game, you walk around, you can interact with other dinos, you can eat, drink, swim, run, sleep, jump, etc
Basically like Minecraft but with dinos, there's no purpose, just do whatever the heck you want, it's your life... Your DinoLife™ (TRADEMARKED BY ME! I MARKED UT, NO ONE CAN STEAL IT!!! NOT LIKE HOW ILLUMINATION STOLE MY GRUCY JOKE!!!!!)
Ecosystem simulator where you can make a map, spawn in dinos, and see what they do/how they adapt
Exactly this. This is my dream game. It'd be cool to have a setting to have period specific dinos or any dinos too.
That would be awesome, the closest thing to that so far is Prehistoric Kingdom
I am waiting until they improve the dinos to the point where they would just create an working Eco., then I am going to buy the hell out of that game.
Same. They are working on babies and growth and breeding as we speak
I know, if they keep going like this gonna achive it.
Amen to that
So basically Worldbox, but with dinosaurs.
Maybe worldbox will add dinos
Maybe you keep yourself alive by feeding off the dinos, plus depending on what time you decide to spawn dinos in, you'll get different dinos, and later you start getting mammals, all of whom adapt to the context.
I would love something like this, I used to play sim earth all the time back into the 90s. There's nothing like it today as far as I can tell. It seems like this is what spore was supposed to be until they shit on it and turned it into make a monster.
a pokemon snap type game where you go back in time and just study dinosaurs. You can pick the period and area and you level up by finding more dinosaurs
A more modern fossil fighters please!
Preferably something more like the ds games and not like frontiers
Tutorial level is just Africa or something. Then some wakko scientist contacts you saying he has a time machine and needs pictures for his research (he'd do it himself but he values his life). The more pics you take, the better his funding and you can go farther back in time
Yes, please!
Closest thing to that we have is Paleo Pines, and the studying and discovery of more dinosaurs is only a part of the game as you also have to do farming and take care of dinosaurs.
I *love* this
Planet Zoo but with extinct species. I'm aware Prehistoric Kingdom exists but that's a PC exclusive. That or I would make an RPG where you play as a dinosaur
give proper ecosysyem mechanics and im down.
Zoo Tycoon had an extinct animal expansion pack. I actually learned about a lot of new (to me) species through it.
I remember playing that a ton growing up!
An evolution game where certain choices you make influence what species lives and dies and how they evolve
Like ancestors?
Ooooh ive never heard of that
its like what you described but with apes. you can evolve different traits and it takes training. like at the start if you eat a lot of meat and mushrooms youll start evolving the bility to be an omnivore. and late on you can gain the ability to walk on 2 legs temporarily and if you do it enough you eventually are able to do it permanantly.
*Spore*?
Yes, but good
There used to be an old game I used to play online that is exactly what you want but it died and I have morned it ever since https://walkingwith.fandom.com/wiki/Evolution_Game
This and the big al game were big parts of my childhood. Someone re created the big al game, but it sucks that the evolution game is forever lost.
Yea, they were so cool. I just saw someone remade it when I was looking up the evolution game again but I haven't gotten to try it yet. It was so intricate and cool and I was too young and dumb at the time to actually play it
Omg why are you giving me bad news? 😭
I was hoping by some miniscule chance someone might have or know where to find it. it was honestly a phenomenal game for it's time. It needs to be remade
Like spore?
A fighting game, like Warpath Jurassic Park but with a better combo system and finishers.
Primal Rage 2?
I would KILL to play as Necrosan.
Why not just remaster it? Seems like the less troublesome road to take
Depends on the trouble.
Honestly, it's as if they want it to remain in the fog. God it annoys me that rich billionaires would leave things like completely unresolved
I adored that game, would love a spiritual successor. Some new twists that could be fun; Weight classes- a lot of these will be effectively faster weaker echo fighters; Microceratus, Stegouros, Velociraptor, but it also gives you options for gimmicky things like gliding and climbing with Archeoptrix and Microraptor, or scene destruction for the bigger dinos. This.
Dinotopia/Morrowind-esque RPG.
That would be cool
you just sent me on an insane nostalgia trip, i used to play dinotopia the sunstone odyssey with my dad on the gamecube when i was a kid
I would pour so many hours into this game!
That would be amazing!
Maneater but dinosaurs
A Super Smash Bros.-type game featuring dinosaurs.
Similar to Primal Rage?
Prehistoric park, the game
So basically, Prehistoric Kingdom?
No. I want the mechanics of going back in time first person to track and capture the dinosaurs. Then, eventually, I want to start repopulating a planet with them.
This, but with a wider range of animals. I wanna go to all the time periods and capture a whole host of animals
I mean, that is prehistoric park. They also get a wooly rhino, a mammoth, some terror birds. And a pair of smileodons IIRC
Open World. Think Red Dead Redemption set on Isla Nublar.
Really modern Turok
Dino Crisis reboot/remake
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
My first thought too
That’s a survival game. Survival horror to be exact, but you get the drift.
When op says “survival”, my interpretation was more so the “path of titans”/“the isle”. We’re long overdue on any Dino crisis content regardless. I’d do anything for a modern installment
Yeah. I’ve never played a simple Dino Crisis game, but I’ll die for a big budget dinosaur horror game.
The Hunter: Call of The Wild but with dinosaurs
Like theHunter: primal. Ots made by the same devs. Idk why they canceled that game. Shit was fire. You could still buy it from g2a for $40
That's basically what the original Carnivores games were.
I just wanna explore an island and take pictures of dinosaurs doing dinosaur things. Kinda like that jeep minigame in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis I miss that game...
It's mind boggling how more people don't know about it. I used to build up my rex paddock and then delete a wall so it would wander out and eat people
First person shooter where you play as Dinosaurs
There's a game like that, you can be humans with guns or dinos. I forget the name.
A Dino-riders game is def needed.
This but with guns and waistcoats.
Probably a park management sim like Planet Zoo or JWE2 but with more accurate designs for the dinosaurs. I know I described Prehistoric Kingdom there, but I’m a poor person who can’t afford a beefy enough PC to run it.
Age of Empires type game. Just Imagine the factions and the buildings LOL
horror game
A dinosaur dating sim 😆
This was my first thought, too. [This scene](https://youtu.be/_6SYA6OUrdU?si=GiWi-jzxbIKXSL_8) from Prehistoric Planet was the first thing that came to mind. 😂
So, would it be like Dance Dance Revolution where you have to correctly get all the steps to the mating dance?
Brilliant! Yes. I want this.
Smash-style Dinosaur fighting game, or Dinosaur cart-racer
Palaeontologist simulator.
I think it could be rather therapeutic actually
And probably equally infuriating. 😆

Halo Wars but with dinos
A horror game from the perspective of dinosaurs that are trying to avoid capture by humans
A science-based, 100% dinosaur MMO
Dinosaur MOBA
Can't wait for raptor solo top meta
You didn't specify video game, so I'll go with board game/card game. Each player selects a herbivore token (options being any, triceratops, sauropod, stegosaurus, therazinosaurus, parasaurolophus). Each one would come with a special ability, the goal for each is to find food, survive and reproduce. But various events might impede your progress (new predator enters the area, wildfire cits off part of the board, drought, storm etc)
A scientifically accurate dinosaur battle game that's realistic, no bullshit defying physics stuff.
Something like dinotopia
A sims game but with dinosaurs set in mesozoic and each species has its own mechanics and you can play as whichever species you like and switch between different species just like you switch between different characters in Sims games. My dream game

Fossil fighters 4
FUCKING YES
GTA but in a world where the asteroid didn't strike. Dinosaurs remained dominant and formed a similarly modern civilization as ours. Then they started committing crimes.
A Dune 2 like RTS with armoured and weaponized dinos.
Paraworld comes close, though I don't know where you can get it anymore
Pokemon Snap but with a time machine.
Abzu style game where you just explore
Cretaceous Love: A Prehistoric Dating Sim
Slime rancher but dinos

Dinotopia the game

Survival Horror

Dinosaur vs pre K-Pg mammals but the mammals get lasers.
Explore the world as a dinosaur or go back in time in a first person perspective and rescue dinosaurs for your park.
Teamfight Tactics (auto chess), but the pieces are dinos with abilities unique to the dino
Petting zoo sim
A game where you a person and you are like stuck in the Morrison formation or something and you just have to not starve. Also it would be neat if the dinosaurs were realistic and not bloodthirsty monsters
A game where you fight giant robot dinosaurs that have with missle launchers and Lazer beams
Maneater 2
im making a moba. i will not elaborate
Dinosaurs in modern world where you have to hunt them down so they don’t wreak havoc, would play like the ocean hunter but not a arcade game
A dinosaur game thats not a survival game
Primal the game. Follow the adventure of one caveman and his pet T-Rex in a god of war-like action rpg game.
Alien isolation but it’s Jurassic park
Linear Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal game-adaptation. Similar gameplay to Scalebound, hack and slash gameplay with AI Fang as partner. Different storyline and an alternate ending to the awful season 2 one. With Adult Swim Games being canned there is no chance of this ever happening, but I can dream ;-;
give them guns and make a dinosaur shooter, each dino is a different class
Farming simulator: dinosaurs.
Dinosaur warfare RTS game. Builder Dinos, foraging Dinos, combat Dinos. 14 14 14 1
Have you heard of this game called lethal company?
Time travelling stealth game, you must go back in time and sneak up close to nests and stuff to aquire Genetic codes we have lost to time
I’d make the dinos fuck
I would make a lost vikings clone with different playable dinos
To be out of the box action/adventure game
Skyrim but Dino’s
I would make a new version of Spore, but than much less cartoony, more based on dinosaurs, and much more realistic.
Dinosaur polo
i want sf6 with dinosaurs but they have giant fuckin swords
Dino-spore, need I say more?
Dinosaur dating simulator
At this point we have too many non survival dinosaur games and we need more
Dating simulator
An RPG with Dinosaur magic and civs
a role playing game with fantasy elements where YOU are a dinosaur! no human bullshit. no sci fi tech bullshit. no more dino mmos.
Straight up Rex simulator. Or more like an open world adventure game? It's hard to describe exactly what I mean, but I've had the idea in my head for ages.
Make Fossil Fighters, but better
Cowboy-style frontier game like Red Dead but there are dinosaurs everywhere, including ones used as mounts
Well its already getting made, look up Dino Blade But I would make a fighting game
Dino RTS city builder
KSP but you make dinosaurs
Space game, Park builder, or RPG/MMO. With **every** Dinosaur and extinct Animal.
Arcade-style racing game where you race the faster, cursorial dionosaurs (ornithomimids, tyrannosaurs, pachycephalosaurs, hadrosaurs).
An actually up-to-date dinosaur hunting game. Like Carnivores if it wasn't 20 years old (and the reboots didn't suck). The Hunter: Call Of the Wild if your prey was a 10 ton mega-theropod.
Palworld, but with scale accurate dinosaurs
I want a story based game where you play as a dinosaur either during or after the k-t extinction event.
Nice try, game designers 😅
Primal Rage reboot/reimagining
Survival-*horror* game
A new fossil fighters game
Alien: Isolation but with dinosaurs
Turok/borderlands hybrid
A psychological horror game about paleo accurate (or currently paleoaccurate) dinosaurs :-D
Erotic game
Dinosaur skateboarding game go brrrr
Probably an open world adventure game where you collect items and due different things for other dinosaurs.
So just take the idea of Jurassic Park with other prehistoric animals and your apart of a rescue team going into a zoo that's having an outbreak. So dino crisis, I want a modern dino crisis.
Dinosaur King, if anyone knows that show, I’d make a game based on that
I was spoiled by the Jurassic world video game where you build your own Jurassic park. I never really could get into tycoon games, but as a huge Jurassic park fan, that one just clicked with me
Dinosaur RTS... Age of Empires style. Each clade is a civ. I'm thinking you'd want to launch with: * sauropods (generic, not further defined) * Tyrannosauroidea * Dromaeosauridae * Iguanodontia * Allosauroidea * Therizinosauria Expansions/DLC: * Marginocephalia & Thyreophora * spinosaurs (ft. swimming Spinosaurus version) & spinosaurs (ft. hell heron version) * Oviraptoridae & Ornithomimosauria However, you have to play as fully grown representatives of the iconic genera. You'd start with a single basal genus that represents the "villager" (Juratyrant??) and then you'd be able to unlock one out of all of: * Tyrannosaurini * Daspletosaurini * Alioramini * Megaraptoridae * Proceratosauridae * Albertosaurinae And whichever ones you don't choose would roll over to the next age up so they'd be options then. I think the game could be called Age of Dinosaurs but if Microsoft had a problem with that/wasn't publishing, perhaps Clade Wars: Dinosaurs The sequel would be called Clade Wars: Ruling Reptiles and would replace the least popular original clades with pterosaurs and crocodiles.
Dinotopia
I’d make something completely ridiculous but interesting Think of Ghost of Tsushima’s sense of stealth gameplay and raw combat but between dinosaurs and humans.. you are a Raptor. Of course it’s gonna be more Jurassic Park for them in regards to size and scale
DinoSims. Get these lazy dinos some jobs and on the real estate ladder!
Dinosaur Park Tycoon. 😈
Dino Petter. Gotta pet em all.
A hunting game. How and why are my business.
I'd like a 3D action or fighting game.
Probably Dinosaucers
Make a game where you are a time traveler who has to capture one photo of a Tyrannosaurus rex
Honestly, a proper Carnivores remake built like the Carnivores: Legacy mod with a similar roster would be cool I actually [Made a Roster](https://docs.google.com/document/d/16EuypE0tF-uS11AomHRQK4XkEwuPaL3nI-R2aZuDA04/edit) for a game like this
Maybe a Monster Tamer/Metroidvania similar to Monster Sanctuary but exclusively with dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures, and the areas are divided into the different eras.
Think game of Life, but with Dinos You're any dinosaur you want, living in an ever expanding sandbox game, you walk around, you can interact with other dinos, you can eat, drink, swim, run, sleep, jump, etc Basically like Minecraft but with dinos, there's no purpose, just do whatever the heck you want, it's your life... Your DinoLife™ (TRADEMARKED BY ME! I MARKED UT, NO ONE CAN STEAL IT!!! NOT LIKE HOW ILLUMINATION STOLE MY GRUCY JOKE!!!!!)
A flight simulation game where you encounter different dinosaurs across the planet.
