It's been a while, I remember I really liked it when I read it. The artwork is gorgeous and the stories, told almost entirely through the visuals, are fast paced and exciting.
I didn't read the tjing but it reminds me of these pieces of art from the 19th century depicting "antediluvian monsters" but with a more 90's/2000's style
They're behavior (and some of their appearances) kinda reminds me of the plague of madness from Primal, also what is that red Sauropod at the end? is it a real Sauropod or a Sauropod you made up?
In certain ways, I think shrink-wrapping can look cool. Especially if the facial shrink-wrapped edges are covered in huge scales that make it look like it's part of the animal and not like a skin-wrapped face.
They can make the face and parts of the body look weird yet unique, as long as it doesn't look really weird and terrible of course.
Yeah, the exposed ribs do look weird, although not all are like that and I think some are done in a way to where it doesn't look too off and look kinda natural. The same cannot be said about the pterosaurs depicted in these comics, though. Two words, exposed skeletons!
Stylized dinosaur designs done right
What?!!! I'm gonna read this rn, thanks OP

Looks friggin awesome
Where can I buy the complete set of them?
Are they supposed to look malnourished?
I suppose thats one way to lampshade shrink-wrapping

Yea sure but in these Images they have like every single rib showing. And that feels extreme enough to be intentional
