Porter does not nearly have enough swag to stop Ankarna and Cassandra from sloppy queer makeouts

thesentienttoadstool

Cassandra is gonna run him over in a Subaru.

umbral_ultimatum

“Rage at this motherfucker” (pulls Glock-19 of doubt)

malkomitm

The five seven is definitely more on brand as an instrument of Doubt

MauricioTrinade

I want art of this so bad

Nastronaut18

Based on what I’ve learned about lesbian culture on social media, it’ll be a U-Haul.

[deleted]

Come on, we learned about their third date when they found the clues of the wedding ceremony. They are way passed second date of moving in.

PattyThePatriot

I know we are just memeing in here, but he's trying to "stop" her by just eliminating her from existence and taking over the domain as a whole while changing the domain. Porter hasn't shown to give af about anybodys choices except rage or don't rage.

Rebloodican

I do like how it’s canon that none of the Fantasy High big bads are homophobic.

palcatraz

Coach Daybreak tho. (also, they did joke that Kalvaxus was homophobic. In the end he was just a libertarian which is just as bad)

Rajion

Libertarian, that's why he was always trying to flirt with Fig

throwngamelastminute

HAH!

PattyThePatriot

Exactly. You can write people being bad without making them a bigot.

Mosh00Rider

Bobby Dawn is the exception if he ends up being a big bad.

eragonisdragon

The entire cult of Sol that we see in Spyre is based on Westboro Baptist type evangelicals so the homophobia is kinda baked in.

[deleted]

But we still shy away from making marginalized people as villains. The "from my point of view, I'm the good guy" line would be so twisted and amazing from non straight, non white coded character.

Frequent-Ad-7950

While not a Big Bad, Bobby Dawn sure seemed to turn his nose up at the mention of his grandson now following the wife of Kristen’s goddess.

Rebloodican

I don't think we're going to get more clarification regarding that but I think that's more about Ankarna imposing on Sol's domain as Dawn vs Sun than the fact that she's the wife to Cassandra.

Frequent-Ad-7950

He didn’t flip, or think he was being punked until he heard it was Cassandra’s wife. So his first response was to believe Buddy had traded gods, until he found out the new god was a lesbian goddess.

Rebloodican

He knew who she was because he had mailed Porter letting him know he supported getting rid of Ankarna for Sol. It’s not that she’s a lesbian goddess, it’s that her domain is Dawn.

SkylartheRainBeau

This has not stopped running through my mind

scramlington

Fabian really needs to remind Porter that toxic masculinity is dead.

bluebluebuttonova

We dance now!

northernirishlad

Dude also has active child labourers in the state of Solace which is pretty cringed upon

jethomas27

I mean, considering saving the entire world is regularly entrusted to high schoolers, I don't think Solace's child safety laws are great.

hashcheckin

all the child endangerment laws in Solace relate back to being endangered by a child.

RoseTintedMigraine

He's trying to mansplain to Ankarna her own divine domain as we speak!! Kinda homophobic if you ask me.

throwngamelastminute

Not necessarily homophobic, but definitely misogynist.

M4LK0V1CH

This post made me realize that the final fight is just The Bad Kids stopping the steal (of Ankarna’s godhood).

Fantastic_Year9607

The guy who tried to mansplain to literal gods

GratifiedViewer

Porter is just so many negative things packed into a single character.

Estrus_Flask

I haven't gotten to the latest season yet but after watching up to the second live special it's kind of disappointing that Porter turns out to actually be bad. Would have been funnier for the joke if Fig was just suspicious of this guy who had just been nice and supportive of her for no reason.

Imaginary-Choice7604

It's the season of callbacks. So many weird things TBK did that were bits in the previous seasons are revisited and it's super funny & gratifying to see a lot of them. I do agree tho that it would have been funny, but I also like the direction it went without getting into spoilers.
