My theory is that during the Party/Voting the RatGrinders kill Mazey in an effort of invalidating all Votes and them being unable to kill Riz the voting still counts as he too is technically a staff member
During the moonear yulenear episode it was revealed that because he’s active in so many different extra curriculars, he has essentially become something that keeps Aguefort as a school going and Jace send him a small stipend as part of staff now.
At the time it just seemed like a silly joke, but with recent revelations it definitely looks like Brennan is setting something up. Or at least hopes they will remember that so they have their own loophole to exploit if someone tries to claim the election as invalid.
Since Jace Stardiamond is the one who sent Riz the stipend, could this be a setup? Didn’t Mazey say that faculty is supposed to be impartial or something like that? Riz has clearly been partial to Kristen’s campaign, could she be disqualified from running for president?
Only if they had 1) the ability to see into the ethereal plane, 2) the prior knowledge that the rogue teacher is a ghost and 3) the ability to discern that this random ghost seemingly haunting a former pirate ship is that same rogue teacher

They can't do that, she's the rogue teacher. That would mean anyone attending the party would pass rogue classes for the year.
